No complaints. Clean, tidy, cheap beer. The only issue was that we booked a 5 bed dorm room, but were then allocated an 8 bed dorm room, no issues really, just meant we probably woke a few people up when we came in unfortunatley... Certainly recommend this hostel, very good.

This is by far the best youth hostel I have ever been in. Brand new, stylish, Very clean, extremely copious breakfast, friendly staff..and all of that at an amazing price. Their terrace bar is excellent as well. Will definitively come again.

This is my favourite hostel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are lovely and really nicely decorated. This is reflected throughout the whole hostel; I'd maybe even say it was posh. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety. I had what was basically cheese salad rolls every morning. Mmmm. In terms of location the hostel is really close... More

Hostel has changed location, and updated their name to "Hostel GoodMo". Don't know where the previous location was, but the current location (Mikszáth Kálmán tér 1) was very convenient! Spent 2 nights in a 14 bed dorm. Best dorm room I've ever stayed in! Huge room! pleanty of space. huge windows that made the room very bright and sunny. Ensuite-... More

I came here for a long weekend, Saturday to Monday, and because of that, it is fairly busy. They have one big open room that is a loft, 4 beds upstairs and I think 6 downstairs. You have to walk through this room to get to the 3-bedroom, where I was staying. Although that room was technically separate, you could... More

I was there for 3 nights, and got bugbites all over my body . if that not enough the receptionist was rude to me.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
