This is an amazing place to stay! Its not always that you get better than what you expect but this one sure does. Its location is excellent, the rooms are large, well lit, bright and well furnished. We had chosen rooms facing the road but the windows were good enough to keep the noise out. This hotel is in a... More

Finding the hotel wasn't all too difficult but we arrived at midnight, so searching through the building in the dark was a bit strange! However, when we found the receptionist, he was super friendly and explained everything quickly so we could get some sleep. The beds were comfy, the bathroom had a jacuzzi (great after 2 days of walking) and... More

Myself and my mother came here for 3 nights a couple of weeks ago and we absolutely loved every second of the time spent in the hotel (and out of it!). The staff spoke very good English and offered a good range of information booklets and discount cards for local attractions. Air con was also fab given the temperatures at... More

The Budapest Panorama Central Hotel has comfortable rooms with wonderful air conditioning in a great location. The staff was so helpful with everything. They can arrange for airport shuttle. The breakfast (which was just 3 Euros extra) was very good and in a cafe very close. The hotel always had coffee and tea and little goodies in the reception room.... More

We stayed at the Budapest Panorama for 5 days. We chose it because of the location and price. Our expectations after reading other reviews were more than met. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The room was perfect - big enough, clean, airconditioned, great bathroom. The hotel was quiet - it was impossible to know there were other people... A centrally located and very convenient Hotel. Very cosy and homely. The entire front desk team under Dorka were very helpful, hospitable, cheerful and dedicated to their tasks. A memorable stay and worth it. Comfortable room and the jaccuzi was de-stressing too. Can walk to any other locations. A nearby Tram station, Metro station and Bus station are an added... More

Great location, near to Astoria metro. Twin room was v nice. Had all required features. Nothing flashy, but definitely did what was required. Staff v friendly. No restaurant at the hotel, but they partnered up with a high quality café v close to the entrance. (Breakfast/food here was excellent). Overall great value for money and I would highly recommend other... More

I'll start with the good things: great location (in Pest, just in front of Astoria subway station and near historical downtown monuments), pleasing staff and clean rooms. The bad things: I was expecting a 3 stars hotel as shown when booking, but it's hardly even an hotel, it's a set of rooms on the 3rd floor of a very old... More

The girls at the front desk were kind and helpful which I really appreciated. I love when employees greet me sincerely. It's so important especially after a long day of traveling. I forgot my charger and she was sweet enough to provide me with one. For the cost of this place, it's worth it. It can be tough to find... More

I booked a double room for one person (no single rooms were available) online for about $60 per night including taxes. The location is great. It's a one or two minute walk from the metro. The jacuzzi in my bathroom was a nice surprise. I had a room on the interior courtyard and there was no street noise. I did... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
