This is a large hotel in the centre of Budapest. It is within easy walking distance of the river and is situated on a main thoroughfare. The rooms are well appointed and reception staff multilingual and very helpful. The buffet breakfast has a greater choice of items than any other hotel in which I have stayed. We got a taxi... More

While this place ticks the main box for a hotel - you can sleep there! - there is not a single detail which is not wrong. Shower attachment doesn't fit, TV remote dead, they charge you for tiny extras from reception, cleaning ladies blundering into your room when you've just arrived, the alarming presence of a rolled up tube of... Very good. Big, clean and quiet room, good breakfast and excellent location near Vaci utca shopping street and metro station. Air condition was very good, because there were some really hot days. Staff were very helpful.

Nice rooms, clean, very good location near to metro station, restaurants bars, friendly people! best thing is that is close to the square which you can make shopping. Turist shops are a little more expensive but food is cheap

Hi, this was my first time in this hotel and I took time to search the web before booking. For sure Tripadvisor was one of the best sources for that but I combined that with some other booking pages. Hotel is very conveniently located, very close to the metro train station Astoria. So you will not need to use taxi.... More

I really liked the hotel with spacious rooms. Váci utca is just one step away with many restaurants and shopping options. Also, it is well communicated by public transport. As all Eurostars hotels there is Spanish staff so it might be helpful if your english is a little rusty.

The Hotel is located on Kossuth Lajos Utica (main road) . I took a taxi from the airport and when we arrived I was somehow confused because I could not see the Hotel. He explained that it was easier to enter using the back street. He pointed where the entrance was. He charged 40 euros for the ride. I indicated... More

Good points: location and staff is friendly & helpful. Within walking distance of Parliament, chain bridge and Jewish Quarter. Bed's comfortable. There's a range of pillows to choose from. Curtains block the light out for an excellent night's sleep. Safes available in the room for valuables. Air conditioning & windows can be opened. Bad points: Air conditioning system is noisy.... Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
