A recently refurbished hotel right in the centre of Budapest, near the River Danube and near the main shopping streets. The hotel has free WiFi everywhere with a reasonable speed, the rooms are modern, reasonably furnished and a good size, with colour tv, en suite bathroom and comfortable beds. It is worth getting the breakfast which has a good choice... More

We stayed at Eurostars Budapest Center for 6 days last August. It's a very good hotel in the center of Budapest. It's closed to 2 main metro stations (Ferenciek tere-blue line and Astoria-red line), which are less than 5 minutes walk away and Vaci Utca (the most famous walking street of Budapest), which is around 10 minutes walk away. Also,... More

If you arrive in Budapest by car, make sure you have very detailed instructions on how to get to the hotel's garage. Don't trust your sat nav as it will leave you going round in circles in the one-waytraffic system. Once you get there however it really is worth it. Very central and very helpful staff on reception. Quiet rooms... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was very clean, the rooms were very nice and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly and its competively priced. The hotel is situated in a good location, we walked absolutely everywhere, everything is within walking distance of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit Budapest.

This hotel is really convenient when it comes to location and if you're looking to party in Budapest, you won't find yourself far from any nightlife if you're staying here. Overall a comfortable place to stay with clean rooms and helpful staff.

Perfectly located hotel with main cafe/shopping district through lane across the road. 10 min walk to Danube & river promenade. Quiet , spacious room with an extra internal door which helped eliminate hallway noise, best idea .! breakfast buffet was lacking ; many times quite empty , bacon was mostly fat strips & on two occasions bread & croissants were... The first thing to note about this hotel is the location, bang in the middle of all attractions on the Pest side, very close to Andrassy Avenue and the shopping district. Inside, sleek, modern and spotlessly clean, staff lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms just gorgeous, so fresh and clean and really nice décor with white and dark wood... More

Hotel is located within 10 minutes walk to Danube, and hop on hop off bus we've been using during our stay in Budapest. Bakery accross thew street, grocery store next door. Hotel offers underground parking.

Great location, good clean rooms. Staff ok also. Breakfast was more abour quantity than quality. Coffee was only from machine. Also welcome drinks were not served, even though those were promised trough booking.com :(.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
