Perfect for a business stay. Good rooms, clean, modern. Wireless working OK. The hotel interior very nice. Definately one of the better business hotels in Budapest. It was a great location too, not too close to traffic. I would imagine parking is a problem though, very narrow street

We (a couple) stayed here recently during August. Everything about our stay at the hotel was great. The rooms were really quite nice, quiet, and the beds were perfect. The location was also very nice, and while Budapest was larger than we had originally anticipated, we found everything within walking distance. If you aren't a big walker, the Hotel was... More

It's difficult to add much to all the other glowing reviews of the Palazzo Zichy. The staff were great, my room was extremely clean and well kept and the breakfasts were super. One tiny 'complaint' was that the excellent smoked salmon only appeared on week-days. That said, it was replaced on Saturday morning by sparkling wine. The free tea, coffee,... More

This hotel was a treat where we wish we had of known before hand and would have stayed longer. Wonderful service and splendid upgrade left us with little to wish for. Great meld of the past and modern in the interior fit out. Really not what one expects when alighting in front of the hotel. Great location and easy walking... More

We stayed at the Palazzo during easter spring 2014, and expectations were high. We contacted the hotel in advance, and already then the hotel met our every need. The Palazzo Zichy delivered what was promised from the moment you walked in the glass doors. The staff was always smiling and helpful, the building and its architecture is beautiful and the... More

The hotel's design is beautiful. The designers renovated a stately mansion, keeping elements of the past and melding them with the clean lines of the modern. Our junior suite was large, colorful and so comfortable. The service was impeccable. The breakfast was excellent and the location, off a tiny square, was quiet yet close to the Danube river, restaurants and... More

The Palazzo a Hotel Zichy is a gorgeous 4 start hotel in a quiet pocket of Budapest. There is a range of great cafe's and restaurants in the local area. It is walking distance to quite a few attractions like the national museum (5 minutes) and the Budapest eye (Ferris wheel) on Erzebet square (15 to 20 minutes). The metro... More

Unfortunately, I only got to stay one night in this lovely hotel. This hotel is located in the city area of Budapest on the Pest side. I didn't get to wander around this area due to the fact that I was boarding a ship the next morning; however, it was centrally located in a fairly lively area, although the hotel,... More

Fantastic decor; delicious breakfast; very helpful staff; free open bar until 5pm with really nice snacks and drinks. It's located next to a church, so on Sundays you can hear a choir through the open windows. By far one of the most comfortable and clean hotels I've ever been to. Before this, we had Airbnb'd through Europe for about a... More
