Thanks to Tripadvisor reviews I selected this hotel for a 4-night stay in early October. My husband and I were delighted with our choice. The location was ideal, in quiet, attractive surroundings close to the historic Castle area. From a stop across the road a small bus runs every 4or 5 minutes to the metro station half a mile away... more

Recently returned from a five day break in this great hotel. We love historical cities but prefer modern hotels, and this one suited us very well. The staff were very helpful, and the 'boss' a real character. Everywhere was imaculately clean, and as the weather had turned quite chilly the week before we arrived it was always a delight to... more

This hotel in located in a great area - close to the Castle area and also convenient to public transportation, making it easy to reach everything in Budapest. Would definitely stay in this hotel again. The restaurant was excellent quality with a wide variety of items offered, including traditional Hungarian cuisine. Can't wait to go back. more

My girlfriend and I opted to stay in Buda, which we'd heard was very quiet but only a short distance from the main action in Pest. The location was great - quite... more

We stayed at the Castle Garden for 3 nights, we enjoyed the fantastic location, just off the Castle district- with the Matthias Church, museums, labirynth, and great views into Budapest, The hoterl itself is small, clean and nicely decorated, with a restaurant and a outrdoor bar-restaurant. We were very disappointed in the service generally speaking, as the waiters and the staff seem... more
