Not stayed on the Buda side before so had expectations of more I'm afraid. The decor/furniture was immaculate all done in 30's Art Deco style, clean as a button everywhere. Alas the hotel was like the moon - no atmosphere! There was no focal point anywhere, there was no bar, if you wanted a beer you had to sit at... More

When first entering the room we were pleasantly surprised. It was nicely decorated, comfortable looking and clean. The bathroom had a nice deep bath and a separate toilet and it looked like it was newly decorated. However when we had been in the room for a bit and had settled in we began to discover a few things that slightly... More

When we are in Budapest the only one place to stay is Belvedere. It is our family tradition from 2008-). So we have been here many times, and the last time we stay here was August 2014 for 3 nights. What to say, seems that it is getting a bit worse, in tearms of cleaning. The ladies who cleans leaves... More

Good location, approx 5-10 mins walk down to the tram and metro station if needed, but I covered the city on foot mostly. Really nice room and bathroom spacious and modern. Wifi was hit and miss, worked in my room (floor 3) but not in my friends room and was intermittent in lobby. Air conditioning was nice, room had huge... More

We stayed here our 4 days in Budapest. The hotel is very accessible to the metro/bus station which is super convenient. The rooms were nice too. HOWEVER the wifi does NOT work in the rooms, we had to sit in the lobby to logon. And the breakfast was mediocre. Not a bad stay, just ok.

If you're there for business, I understand, but for those looking for a fun location, with a decent restaurant nearby, and some evening atmosphere - this isn't the place. Taxis are a must to get to the PEST side....and that's where you find better dining, better cafes, better shopping, everything better ! So spend the extra EUR20 per night at... More

I stayed in the Belvedere due to a work commitment and found the hotel, staff and everything about the place to be perfect. Very stylish and professional. Kind and helpful staff. The location is ideal if you want to walk down to the Danube or even go to Buda Castle. The only night I ate in the restaurant the food... More

The whole experience was delightful. The place to start has to be the pool and sauna which alone is delightful and so tranquil but with the view over parliament and the church it was utterly beautiful! Almost tempted to stay in there the whole time! The rooms were very clean and had a huge bed, I( slept extremely well. The... More

We stayed twice at the Belvedere on two successive weeks and it was brilliant each time. Stylish, spacious, friendly and immaculately clean, we couldn't have found anywhere more suitable. Each room had a balcony, each was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Such comfortable beds too.

The Belvedere is everything you want from a hotel - tastefully decorated, clean, well located (near the castle and St Matthias church) and has VERY friendly, helpful reception staff. In fact they went above and beyond the call of duty (and we were a large, somewhat boisterous group!). On top of that, there is a lovely peaceful swimming pool and... More
