Enjoyed our three night stay here. Rooms too hot but able to open window so o.k. Quite noisy street at front. Quieter at rear. Very clean, staff friendly. Nice restaurant and food. Breakfast good. Bit of a walk to river etc. but we didn't mind.

Stayed here for 3 nights and on arrival we were impressed with the hotel's appearance. Check in was nice and easy. Our room was on the third floor facing the main road which I think hasn't helped my opinion of the hotel- if you book here from what I gather it's best to request a garden facing room. The air-con... Upon entering the Hotel I was impressed with how the lobby's aesthetics. We were greeted by a man on reception who was very welcoming and warm, however seemed to lack when it came to organisation such as which rooms were for couples etc. When I entered my room I was a very impressed with the overall look and feel, in... We stayed here last summer and we were really happy with the hotel and the staff. The rooms are modern and very clean. A few minutes walk down the street you find a big shoppingmall and restaurants and bars. We stayed here for four nights and we absolutely loved it! Especially the rooftop! The wiew is amazing and you can... More

The views from the top floor pool are amazing! You can watch the time drift by while relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view of the parliament building! However, I was disappointed that the current feature didn't work in the pool. The rooms were a good size and modern, but needed a little TLC. There were leaves in our wardrobe, a... More

First time in Budapest did not know what side to choose from Buda or Pest. This hotel was of a good standard and good value for money on the Buda side. Breakfast was very good and covered most things you would like in the morning. Would recommend this hotel if you would like to stay on this side. We thought... More

My stay on an upper floor at the Belvedere for five weeks (August-September) was wonderful. I have read others' experiences, and find that there were some overlaps. On the positive side: 1. All staff was absolutely friendly and helpful, from the cleaning ladies to the front desk to the restaurant crew. (I am learning Hungarian, and am a novice at... More

Not stayed on the Buda side before so had expectations of more I'm afraid. The decor/furniture was immaculate all done in 30's Art Deco style, clean as a button everywhere. Alas the hotel was like the moon - no atmosphere! There was no focal point anywhere, there was no bar, if you wanted a beer you had to sit at... More

When first entering the room we were pleasantly surprised. It was nicely decorated, comfortable looking and clean. The bathroom had a nice deep bath and a separate toilet and it looked like it was newly decorated. However when we had been in the room for a bit and had settled in we began to discover a few things that slightly... More

When we are in Budapest the only one place to stay is Belvedere. It is our family tradition from 2008-). So we have been here many times, and the last time we stay here was August 2014 for 3 nights. What to say, seems that it is getting a bit worse, in tearms of cleaning. The ladies who cleans leaves... More
