We stayed at this hotel during the horrific storm on 17/18 August 2015. The whole Jewish District was without power for several days. Despite very difficult circumstances, the staff were helpful and the hotel did what it could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is well run, clean, located in an ideal position for many of... More

Great location, Clean and modern, air conditioning throughout the hotel and decent breakfasts. Good value for money. They also recommended a great transfer company to and from the airport, and was also able to do return transfers to the Hungaroring for the F1 weekend.

Budapest is a great city and this hotel is a good and cheap option. It is located in a very centric street, with metro and tram lines very close so you can move easily. Rooms are a little small but are clean and comfortable. Tip: be very careful with your tickets in the public transport, specially in the line 2... More

1. Perfectly located, and believe me; if you are ready to walk for 1-2 miles a day, this is the place to check most attractions by just walking. 2. We took the Big bus tour for 2 days, but never had a problem in walking back to the hotel from the most attractive and touristic locations. 3. Breakfast : can... More

large rooms, very noisy if facing the street. don't let them give you a room in the building next door (where they own a couple of rooms) because they are not renovated and somewhat forgotten/dirty/noisy and with strange neighbors. out of 3 people we met from the front desk only one was nice, helpful and care to help. dont ask... Dear Bedoya_JJ, Thank you for your comment, I am sad that you did not really like the location of your room. I think you had a junior suite which was located in an older but renovated house next to the hotel building. Thank you for the infomation about your missed wake up call, I am really sorry for that. I don't know the precise criteria that differentiates three, four and five-star properties but, for my wife and me, the place gets 5 stars. Yes, the rooms are small and the pillows, at least in the room we had, were thin. But the hotel staff could not have been more courteous and friendly, the included breakfast had a very nice... More

Expected a little less but when I turned up it was actually great. Nice comfy double bed with opaque window to bathroom which was a lovely surprise. Very nice actually. Shower was very nice, a little too powerful that the showe head couldn't control itself. Water was spray everywhere but still very nice. Mini bar could have a little more... More

Dear Alaistair d, I am happy that the first impression about our hotel was great. Altough we do not have more drinks in the minibar, our lobby bar is open until late evening and our staff can serve the drinks in your room as well. Thank you for the review. Best regards, István Tőzsér More

Got an amazing price on this hotel, it doubled a couple days later. Pros are design, location from train and city center, nice staff. Cons are mainly related to size, very small. No view. Overall, very good choice.

Stayed here in July 2015. It is a great hotel in a very good location! Reception staff were very welcoming and the breakfast buffet is also very good for what you pay to stay in this hotel. Rooms are very clean and the decor is modern. They are pretty small however when you are in Budapest you shouldn't be spending... More

Staying in District VII / Jewish Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly Moorish in style, crowned by the twin onion shaped domes, the Synagogue is the very emblem of District VII and one of the main attractions in the capital.
