Wonderful experience here. First of all, the location. Right in the middle of the main pedestrian shopping road in Budapest. It was terrific. Walking distance to all the sites: Parliament, St Stephen's Basilica, the opera house, the chain bridge, etc. The staff at the front desk was ultra friendly. Made us feel at home from the very first moment. And... More

Just returned from a four night break to Budapest, this hotel is a great location. Book street view rooms, noisy but who sleeps in Budapest? Can close windows!! All Staff we dealt with were helpful & friendly. Breakfast adequate , could so with a new Coffee Machine in Breakfast Room.

good sized room and ensuite, good selection at breakfast although on scrambled eggs and one other hot dish. loved the location in the pedestrian mall with many cafes and a short walk to the main markets. the bed was a bit too hard but i would stay there again.

Had to upgrade room, nothing wrong with the room, it was modern and spotless. No natural light as facing wall and glass lift, so if curtains were open everybody could see in room (101) staff very friendly and helpful, especially Gregory. Breakfast was adequate, and could get very busy. Overall a very good hotel.

Let me tell about the good things first. The location is the best thing about this hotel. It's near lots of shopping, food, and the Metro. Budapest is a walkable city so being in a good location makes things even better. The staff are very nice and friendly and really did try to address the problems. The breakfast in the... More

The majority of rooms at this hotel face a tiny interior corridor that has almost no illumination. Hence, I could not tell if it was day or night most of the time. In other words, I experienced no direct sunlight in my room during the week of my stay. In addition, the room’s only window faces this interior space, making... More

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
