Stayed for a week to go to Hungaroring F1 Grand Prix. 10 minutes drive from city centre. Staff all very helpful and spoke good English! (Certainly better than my Hunarian!). Breakfast was basic but adequate. We had a joining room for kids, with a portable air - con unit. This was essential! It was absolutely roasting, 35°c plus. For the... More

Breakfast is poor, rooms are stuffy aired/stale, price is great, underground garage for some extra symbolic price. Bed linen is worn. It's exactly what you should expect for the price, considering you're in Budapest. Good for a place to sleep and go. Up in the Buda Hills, no connection with subway. You can actually meet up with Mr. Korda who... More

Stayed here for a number of days as we revisited Budapest after living there for a number of years. It in based on the Buda side so use of public transport (very cheap) or a car is required to get about. Nice Italian restaurant is nearby, and Cafe 57 provides good breakfasts if you fancy a change. Wifi worked well... More

We were there for the f1 Grand Prix . We had a family room for 5 five persons and stayed for five nights. I choose that hotel trough internet because of the value for the money and because of the parking free of charge. The Location is on a hill on a good and easy neighborhood. The breakfast is 4... I stayed for nine nights at the Korda Villa, after having heard and read quite a lot about it. The villa is owned by one of Hungary's most popular celebrity couples and as such, one rightly assumes that they would take pride in their B&B if it bears their name. The Korda Villa's neo-classical exterior is really quite imposing and... More

This privately run small hotel is defenitly the best value for your money! Attractive architecture, superb view over the distant city, quiet on the outskirts of Budapest, but only 20 minutes to the center by car. Top rooms, friendly staff - and a small black cat and a dog waiting to be petted at the reception ;-) Parking is on... More

We booked a suite for a 2 night stay. The rooms were quite large, with a lovely terrace with table & chairs. We had breakfast brought to the room, & enjoyed a lovely early morning with great views over the city. Although the rooms were sparsely furnished, they were more than adequate for the price charged. Minor inconvenience not to... More

We booked a family room and when we got there found out that we had 2 adjoining rooms and the same price, can't complain about that. We had a double bed and 2 singles, perfect for our family of 4, plus we had that extra bathroom which is always nice. There is no lift in this building, so dragging our... More

I had 3 days in late June 2012 for business and leisure. The location is fine, in the suburb of Budapest up in the hills on the Buda side of Donau. To get there by public transport, numerous bus lines (11, 111, 29 and one more) can take you from the edge of Donau. My preferred was 11 or 111... More

Otherwise you'll find the public transport with its transfers a hassle, because Villa Korda is about three miles away from the centre of Budapest. Regardless of your choice, you'll find the hotel warm and peaceful. This is one of the cheapest accommodations in Budapest (at least according to TripAdvisor), with a double room for only €31 per night. It is... More
