Great location right in downtown Piran. Staff helpful and room clean but overall the hotel really needs an update. TV doesn't work, cobwebs on the doors and ceiling, bedside lamp doesn't work and A/C just pumps air. Disappointed.

We spent a very comfortable 3 nights here in September 2014. Staff were really helpful and friendly, from reception through to breakfast staff. Good buffet breakfast selection in a lovely airy conservatory and very pleasant bedrooms - recommend third floor with larger balconies (312 was very spacious). Great location but very quiet even though on main square. Would definitely choose... More

This charming hotel offers a fantastic location in the heart of Piran. The rooms are simple but clean - all one really needs. Get a room with sea view & balcony, it's totally worth it! Service is very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. I would return in a heartbeat.

Thank you very much for your visit and your comment. Hopefully there will be a chance to come again. We know that our US clients like the town very much - i believe that Piran is something much different from what you can find back home. Piran itself is quite specificin this area, with many more visitors from overseas countries... More

This hotel is right on the square in the middle of Piran. We were there for the Piran Festival. (First week of August) We enjoyed the view of the concert stage from our bedroom window, but it may not be to everyone's taste. We had The Beetles blasting out one night and the equivalent of Iron Maiden the next! We... More

Thank you very much for your stay and your comment. Beds can hardly meet everyones taste as quite many of our clients prefer harder beds. But of course , this is not by rule. Halfboard is not usually taken in our hotel though you get fresh and good food, comparable to the majority of the restaurants in town. Apart from... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a cycling holiday. Our room overlooked the central square in Piran - not the quietest as there were concerts in the evening, but we enjoyed these and they didn't go on too late. Our room was small but comfortable and breakfast was very good. Recommended.

Thank you very much for your stay and your contribution. Quietness and central location in midsummer somehow do not get together very well. We had very many concerts, dance performances, workshops and exhibitions during this summer and I believe this was a great value for our visittors. Some festivals are still going on. There were also some concerts a bit... More

With a group of 14 people on a tour with our Flying Club in The Netherlands we chose Tartini in Piran for a 5 nights’ stay, because of the magnificent location of Piran (and, convenient for us especially, a short taxi drive to the local airport) and the central location the hotel has in the town. All members of the... More

Thank you very much for your stay and your comment. Organizing a "flying" holiday does take a lot of work, adjustments and understanding. I do believe that you found a trustful partner in us. We were more than happy to host you in Piran and above all, envious of your freedom and distances you were able to make in a... More

We stayed for 3 nights. Because of the terrible weather deep (Slovenian-deep) we had to leave one night earlier as booking. The Hotel Management was very accomodating, so it was no problem to cancel the last booked night without paying charge. We were really sad about the earlier leave, because the Hotel Tartini was comfortable and the personell was very... More

Thank you very much for your contibution. We definitely had more than enough rain this summer - data says, a record in a 60-years period. But the town has its charm also when the days are not completely bright and sunny. Moreover, the weather forecasts for Piran are mostly not very precise as with its very specific local climate, the... More

Thank you for you comment and contribution with pros and cons. The hotel is a .iittle bit hard to find since the main Tartini Square is closed for traffic and you can not drive directly in front of the entrance. However, ask a neighbour when you are here..... Almost everybody agrees now that being at least partyl closed for traffic,... More

We stayed for one night. This place is right in front of Piran city square. Rooms are nice, clean and big enough. Breaky is good. They even help you to park and unload your luggage. This is important in Piran where parking is a big challenge. Overall it is a nice place. You pretty much pay for the location.

Stayed here for just a single night on my way from Croatia up to Bled, wish I could have stayed longer as it's a really lovely place. It was a little hard to find at first so I should have done a bit more research. Once I found it I wondered how on earth I'd missed it. The entrance is... More

Thank you very much for your comment and a couple of useful tips for other travellers, too. Piran definitely is worth more that only a night stay - but it is ok to taste it. This summer the cultural program is especially rich and interesting. Anyone can find an offer for his / her taste... I do hope you will... More
