Nice modern hotel with very large rooms but you need a car to get there and there's not much in the neighborhood except for a pizzeria/restaurant frequented by locals (and not too bad) about a 5 minute walk away. more
We arrived at Hotel Bau after driving round Maribor for ages! The Hotel is signposted on the way into Maribor, although this signposting is brief and a little unclear. However, we were pleased when we got there, finding the hotel clean and new and with good car parking. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only downside was... more
Although the hotel is not conveniently located if you don't have a car, I would recommend it to all who can live without room service and other amenities of 4+star hotels that you never really use. Spotlessly clean, quiet, everything looks like brand new, internet access included, very friendly staff, modest but tasty breakfast. Close to campus. more
