Stayed for 6 nights in B&B Petra. Petra Varl is a wonderful land lady; helpful, friendly - always there if needed. The location is excellent just opposite the open market. Around the corner is great fish restaurant and around the other corner the cable to the castle. Stayed in a new studio, everything was perfect, clean and quiet. The bed... More

I was in the yellow room which was beautiful and on the top floor. The location is superb and right in the centre of the nicest part of the city, just below the castle and right next to the fruit and flower market. Despite that it was a haven of tranquility, set back from the road and so avoiding any... More

We also stayed in the Blue Room which had a balcony covered in snow and Petra's footsteps. It made quite an impression on both of us and we instantly fell in love with Ljubljana and all its romance. Petra was a very attentive host and even went to great lengths to make us homemade biscuits for our arrival and followed... More

We stayed in the blue room, which has a balcony. The welcome was lovely and the accommodation was really easy to find. It is located in the very heart of the city but is so quiet and peaceful. The room is perfectly laid out. Breakfast is provided as a do it yourself, which meant we were freer to please ourselves.... More

Very friendly and helpful, with Petra's Mum's homemade Banana Cake on arrival. Stayed in Red Room. As it was quite cold, after the excellent Christmas Market, it was good to get back to a very cosy room. The location is brilliant.

Stayed there one night only but Petra's welcoming and hospitality was exceptional. We used the blue and yellow rooms which have very tasty furmitures and conforting atmosphere. Altough the breakfast offered was quite Rich we preferred to eat Burek with Spinach with Illy coffee at the bakery next door. When arrived we were lucky to find a parking place at... More

We stayed in Petra Varl Accomodation late October 2013. It is a B&B but not the kind of Bed & Breakfast you might be thinking. It is rather a serve-yourself breakfast. Everything you need for breakfast are self contained in your room including kettle to warm water for coffee, percolator, toaster, etc. The room is equipped with small frig already... More

This is a fantastic B&B in a perfect location, next to the market, few steps from the dragon bridge and few minutes away from preseren square where all the activities are happening! Petra is a great host, she even brought us home made cake on our arrival! We stayed in the blue room for 1 night, which is quite small,... More

Great B&B in a fantastic location. This B&B is right next to the markets and the funicular and trails up to the castle. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and the ladies that run the B&B are very friendly. The only area for improvement is the breakfast options.

We had the red room. The room was nice and well equipped (flatscreen and DVD - welcome on the three rainy days we had). The kitchenette does'nt have a cooking-plate but there was a tosti-machine is perfect with the square sandwiches you'll find in the fridge. There is a Spar-supermarket nearby the dragon-bridge where we bought some cheese & ham... More
