I stayed at Antiq Palace with my three children and we loved the place. It's an old palace in the heart of old Ljubljana, just some 80m from the river. The decor is old world charm and the rooms, or rather suites, which are fully equipped with a kitchen have very high ceilings and antique decor. The breakfast is excellent... More

Had a lovely stay last weekend at the Antiq Palace Hotel. The staff were exceptional from Anton who greeted us on arrival to the chamber maids who refreshed everything in our massive suite. Perfectly located right by the centre of town near to all of the best shops bars and restaurants. Many thanks for making it such a memorable weekend... More

We got upgraded to a large apartment in the roof. Superficially that seemed like a great thing at first until it became apparent that the heating was not working in the bedroom and the hall, making the whole place feel rather cold, especially given it was well below zero outside. When we pointed out the problem to the hotel they... More

I only stayed one night at the Antiq Palace, but felt as though I was pampered as one can only be in Ljubljana. My room was absolutely huge - with a sitting room, kitchen, two bathrooms (one exclusively for a complex shower with more nozzles than what I knew to do with), and a large bedroom. Just as an fyi... “Upgrade”, every travellers favourite word and the word that greeted us when we arrived in the Antiq Palace hotel on a cold Ljubljana afternoon. From a planned “Business Double” we were given a ground floor apartment looking out on the street. And no, it was not noisy – this is a pretty quiet part of town all the time, so... More

I stayed in this hotel 3 nights in the beginning of November, actually it is not exactly a hotel (as they are usually look like) it is an old building after renovation with lovely small garden inside, corridors, and big rooms, I was amazed when I made a first step into my room, it was a big apartment with two... We were a group of 6 adults, traveling around Slovenia and Croatia. Our first stop and meeting place was Ljubljana. The Antiq Palace Hotel and Ljubljana was a perfect place to begin. Firstly we must thank Anze for being the perfect host, arranging champagne and cold drinks in the lovely garden court yard on arrival. As we all had arrived... More

This hotel is well suited if a bit hard to locate and the staff from arrival to departure were exceptional. The building itself has a lovely appearance with great decor. Why not five stars well there were a few irrating minor items 1 we had for the first 2 nights a two bedroom apartment capable of 4-6 people with a... More

My husband booked this hotel for my birthday get away. He booked as it was advertised as a hotel and spa. What a joke. Nothing in the spa worked and the massage was one of the worst I have received and I typically have over 10 year. The front desk help was non existent. We asked them to book a... More

Ok..I travel often and understand that each of us experiences every hotel differently. In the case of the Antiq Palace, you may think the rooms are too large or you might prefer a different bedding, or free parking...who knows, what you won't find is a hotel anywhere with better customer service. I am not talking lip service, I am talking... More
