You may not expect a "welcome home" feeling from a hostel but if it does, it is total impressive! As a backpacker, I just had a hard time in Zagreb. Having a night train from Split to Zagreb, walking around and doing some sight-seeing, I was really tired and wanted to take a nice rest in Ljubljana by an evening train from Zagreb. Having the advice from my friend, I reached Isis hostel and it was really a nice place to stay. It was clean and tidy, just like being home as it is actually an apartment. The hosts there were really friendly and helpful and the guests there were friendly too. During my stay, I sit in the common room with the hosts and some guests sharing our travel experiences. It's like chatting with your friends. The rooms were nice too since there were a few beds per room, it's quiet and comfortable as you won't feel crowded.
