So we're the "grandparents/older couple" in the review by "romeexpatdad" and agree whole heartedly with the review. Most lovely accommodations in the idyllic Lake Bled area. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfasts and dinners delicious and beautifully presented. Mateja and her staff were always pleasant and helpful. A real gem of a place!

Though a 10 minute walk to the lake and town, it is worth it.Flashlights help navigate nighttime forays into town.The mountains lend an idyllic feel to the chalet like hotel. The wonderful breakfast with homemade cakes, eggs to order and personal touches make the stay delightful. The staff are so warm and friendly, you want to live here!
