Nestled beside a river, this simple, pleasant, private alternative to the obvious tourist traps of Bled is less than a ten-minute-drive from the action. You’ll need a car for this property. You’ll be happy you arrived. Patrick, the aging, friendly, rescued great dane, will greet you alongside his patroness, Myrna on your arrival. In all honesty, this is a big... More

We spent one week at Reka Hisa. Clive, Myrna and their friendly dog were all just great. The hospitality was pleasant, and all meals were generous and tasteful. For us it was the first time going abroad with our baby, and we had all facilities we needed for the little one - they even kindly helped us storing and making... More

I found this place on trip advisor, having been rated very highly and I must say I agree with the reviews. Clive and Myrna are lovely, as is their gorgeous great dane, Patrick. The guest house was spotlessly clean, the room compact but served our purposes well. Food was great! I have to make a couple of points (not criticisms)... More

Thanks Clive and Myrna (and Patrick the dog) for a lovely stay. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the home cooking was wonderful. Location is slightly out of the way but beautiful and convenient for Lake Bohinj and Bled. We did everything on public transport although a car would have been handy. I would love to come back.

It is a nice pension in between bled and lake Bohinj. Breakfast and dinner is served and is decent. Owners can arrange activities and advice on things to do. It is really handy to have a car to be able to come and go when you want and do activities yourselves. Especially the Bohinj lake and valley provides for good... More

Beautiful location right on the river, after a highly social and active few days before check in. This was perfect time to relax which included breakfast, dinner and they sold drinks there when requested at a reasonable cost. Majority of us where dog people so having a Great Dane made it more homely. Patrick is part of the hosts family... More

What a delight this place was. The first thing that hits you is the location, set right on the river and surrounded by sheer cliffs. Clive, Myrna and the beautiful pup Patrick were all fantastic hosts. Please bear in mind that they make no secret that they have a pet Great Dane (who, no offence to Clive and Myrna, was... More

Clive was great as well as his cooking. Rooms small but clean. Pretty views. Myrna very uptight and therefore meals were not relaxing at all. Nice kayaking with excellent instructor. I have to say that all things considered I would not recommend due to Myrna's attitude.

This is a great b&b to stay in if you want to be outside and explore the Julian Alps. You have access to the villages, lakes, steams, and trails in the Bled vicinity. The rooms are fairly new and clean. Clive is a great cook and all the meals (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. The b&b is right on the... More

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Reka Hisa. Clive and Myrna made us very welcome and were very helpful in suggesting places to visit and the best way to get to them. As mentioned in previous reviews Clive's evening 3 course meals were excellent and varied. Our room overlooked the river where each day we saw people... More
