Penzion Mayer is situated up on the hill adjacent to Hotel Golf (which is a dive). Realistically there are no lake views from the rooms. What a fantastic little place! We were in Lake Bled for a family wedding, most of the guests stayed in the Golf Hotel next door. Penzion Mayer was spotless, comfortable and good value. Fantastic breakfast, clean functional rooms and great service. Only complaint would be the price of the restaurant. Apart from that a great place to stay and good value for money. Situated about 5 mins walk from the lake, so pefect for that and skiing Vogel is 30 mins drive or a free bus. more
