Stayed here on a walking trip to Slovenia. Vila Bled is probably the most famous hotel in Lake Bled if not Slovenia. It is the former palace of ex President Tito. It is located on the shores of much photographed Lake Bled and has views towards the mountains. Directly outside the hotel is the lakeside path and many other walks... More

Lovely place, a hotel with a view ( in some rooms view is blocked by trees, they should cut some and replace them by young ones) Rooms are old fashioned spacious and have still the furniture of the sixties. I loved it. They have an amazing good restuarant! Chef Igor deserves a Michelin star, but as Michelin is not present... More

We leave 50 km away from this hotel but we spent few times a weekend there. If you want to pamper yourself with all what they offer (nice old fashion rooms full of stories, the most beautifull view on the lake, sauna, jacuzzi, fresh air in peacefull surround) you MUST go there. The staff is sooooooo friendly and helpful and... More

My husband & I have stayed at Villa Bled twice now & we adore this hotel. It's like visiting a bygone era- but that really applies to Bled overall. This graceful residence really takes your breath away. The view from the rooms facing the lake are magical, in fine weather or when a fog rolls in, or a summer storm... More

spent final 4 nights of honeymoon here. had booked months in advance, we'd mentioned it was our honeymoon and got an upgrade to a suite with lake view for the price of a standard room. The suite was very nice but very old fashioned. We had huge windows in the bedroom and livingroom which looked out on to the lake.... More

We stayed in Vila Bled 5 days and we hosted here our wedding dinner. The place is breathtakingly beautiful, and has lots of charm. We chose to have our wedding dinner in the frescos room on the first floor. Food was delicious and very well presented, not only at the wedding dinner but throughout our stay. Breakfast is buffet style... More

This is a hotel you choose first and foremost for its location, right on the edge of Lake Bled, yet just off the road and, therefore, quiet. It is set in wooded gardens which are shady and pleasant in the summer. The walk, on a path around the lake, is 20 minutes to the resort centre and 5 minutes to... More

It is a well preserved communist-era building. If you are for nostalgia and communist aesthetics (which I am) this is a good place to stay because it has been well renovated while retaining its spirit. Rooms are huge, ours was Tito's suite, and it is very close to the lake which is the main attraction in the city. Staff is... More

This hotel used to be a royal retreat and was Tito's (former communist Yogoslavian dictator) summer retreat. This has style and class just oozing out of it with killer views of Lake Bled and the Church on the island. Wonderful rooms with large balcony's. The resaurant is a little stuffy but serves very good food. The hotel is set on... More

How often do you stay in Marshall Tito's summer house? Lovely suite with views to die for. Comfortable in an old fashioned way. Great food on the terrace- good service ,good wine.If you like to be a small distance from the crowds and enjoy a beautiful lake with no motor noise this is it.
