Around Bled, this is by far the best located hotel. It is a little way out of the town, but in easy walking distance. It has lovely gardens with hammocks, a viewing platform higher up on the hill to see the lake and a great little deck area where you can swim in the lake or sunbathe. The hotel itself... More

This truly beautiful heritage property was once the summer palace of Marshal Tito. The guest rooms today are the same in which Guests of State stayed back when Bled was one of the scenic showcases of former Yugoslavia. Today, it is a showcase for grandeur amidst tranquility, maintained with pride and served with a touch of class. The location is... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a 2 week holiday. It really is a beautiful hotel. We were in room 208 and had a view of the castle from the lounge and great view of the church on Lake bled from our bedroom. The rooms are enormous and we liked the fact you can alter the firmness... More

One of my most favorite hotels. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. Wonderful staff. Delicious food. Many activities available. We biking around the lake(hotel provides very nice bikes), rowed to church on the island and paddle boarded around the lake. In my opinion the best place to stay in Bled. We stayed in a beautiful, big suite with a lake view.... More

3.5 stars Location: Incredible location and views directly onto the lake and island in the lake from the room and restaurant. Most rooms seem to have balconies. Easy parking if you need it. Staff: Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. Hotel has nice touches like free bikes to use and free row boat right by the hotel. You can... More

We stayed here for three nights and it was fabulous! An enormous suite with a spectacular view of the lake and island. The service was impeccable and I had a wonderful massage in the spa. Great for quiet walks around the lake and watersports in warmer weather. We were just there in May 2015. Also extremely reasonably priced.

This was a bucket list for us and could not have been better. The large suite with tremendous private balcony overlooking the island and church on Lake Bled was AMAZING!! The view was exquisite and the staff was unparalleled, especially Matjaz Triplat!! Gracious, helpful and accommodating well beyond the norm. Gorgeous, romantic and delicious dinner on the terrace of the... More

Was there late April, 2015 and it was a wonderful experience. The entrance to the hotel makes you feel like royalty. Staff were nice and helpful. I was lucky that my room had a great view of the lake and the island. Breakfast was great, also had dinner at the hotels restaurant and it was to my surprise really good.... More

I have just been in Vila Bled ( the former residence of Josip Broz Tito) and my family and me just loved the place; they even served champagne during the breakfast:) The service is great and I strongly recommend this hotel if you plan to visit Bled

The Villa was the summer home of Tito in the 70's and is a miniature palace. Actually ON the lake, it has views of the castle and the iconic island church. The furnishings are 1930's art deco, except this the original stuff, and will need to be redone if they want to keep their 4 stars. But the total effect... More
