ideal location for close access to buses, lake bled, walking to Vintgar Gorge. The beds were comfortable, shower small. We had a room with 3 single beds, (2 in 1 room. & 1 in it's own room). Free parking. Our room was on the second floor, our room was of the carpark, but I hear on the higher floors you... More

Booked into stay here last minute and it was worth it! The hotel was lovely as were the rooms. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and shower were nice. The rooms had wifi and air conditioning. It also included breakfast and access to their pool which was great. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop and... More

We stayed here for a week in August, this was our first trip to Slovenia and enjoyed it immensely. The Hotel Jelovica provided a good base for our holiday, the buffet breakfast was substantial, staff were friendly, one big downside was the lack of air-conditioning but would stay here again if we returned to the area

The hotel is ideally located. 2 minutes to the Lake and over the road from the bus stop. The hotel is slightly dated and faded but spotlessly clean and comfortable. The rooms are small but for us it was adequate as we do not spend much time in our room except to sleep. The breakfast was poor quality, coffee was... More

While the staff of this hotel was nice and the bed was clean, the hotel was not lakefront, the room was tiny, the a/c was non-existent, the bathroom was tiny, the soap was so tiny that it was useless (fortunately this was not our first rodeo so we had our own), the carpet was worn, overall really pretty bad. Again... More

We stayed here one night and found the hotel to be clean and the room adequate, but it is small and as someone else noted near a church which rings bells early in the AM. The hotel feels a bit dated (1980s) but met our needs. It was conveniently located two minutes from the bus depot. The staff are courteous... More

We've just returned from 2 weeks at the Hotel Jalovica in Bled - what a nightmare. We weren't warned beforehand that the Bled festival was taking place during our first week so due to live music that went on all day and all night we didn't get any sleep. There was no air con in the hotel but you couldn't... More

We stayed in Jelovica in Bled for two nights just before Christmas in 2013. As family we got two separate rooms, one-was bigger and with amazing lake side view, another room was smaller for children and facing the mountains side. Although hotel from outside looked like kind of old-fashioned building, but inside both rooms were renovated and clean. First night... More

Jelovica Hotel sits between Old Town Bled, Spa Park, Central bus stop (hardly a bus station) a bit above the lake. Cafes, fast food joints, restaurants, bars, pubs, day trip & equipment providers, shops are all around it. Buses are on time, drivers are helpful even to thickheaded tourists (like myself). English is widely spoken & understood, my attempts at... More
