This place is actually located in Selo. Nice pizza restaurant nextdoor, they serve pretty large portions and pizza's and are familiar with the concept of doggie bags: your pizza dinner may well serve as lunch for the next day! Nothing much to do there but it's not very far from Bled, so if you're by car this will not be... More

The hostel is pretty basic - there are no lockers and the bathrooms are in a pretty poor state. They smell, run out of loo roll, lack got water and don't have locks on the doors. The place could definitively do with a thorough clean. There are no kitchen facilities, however breakfast and hot drinks are provided every morning until... More

As you can read from the other reviews, the owner is great. Really helpful and he picked us up from our transfer and dropped us off back in the bled the following morning. It was good value and breakfast was included. It was basic but did the job for some young, broke travellers. Having a bar/pizzeria attached the hostel was... More

The owner is an absolute gem who is reliable about picking you up from your transport stop and getting you to and from the lake. The reason I love this hostel is that it's so easy to meet other travellers while on these free shuttle runs, and you get to see some beautiful countryside. I regret only staying one night,... More

I Loved it! Niko the owner is such a nice guy he gave us a lift to and from the train station and printed out our boarding passes for our flight home. The hostel is about 5km from the lake but I preferred this location than right on the lake as the view is beautiful and there is a free... More

If you want an affordable yet enjoyable place to stay this is for you. This place was great, Milan picked us up from the station and drove us to the hostel, after this breakfast was made for everyone staying at the house, and then we were driven into lake bled- for free! there was a pick up from the lake... My friend and I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights in August. Although it might not lie close to the lake, it is definetely worth going to! Milan was able to take by shuttle to the city centre and the lake, we were able to organise trips to go kayaking and canyoning, and the rooms were more than great!... More

Where to start? Milan was a great guy and could not do enough for us, he took us to bled in the morning and bought us back in the evening, offered great advice as to what to do at lake bled. He recommend we try rafting which turned out to be reasonably priced and very fun. The breakfast was very... More

I stayed in Jakelj In July this summer with 8 of my friends. Milan, the guy who ran the place, was a great help. He dropped us to the lake every morning and picked us up every afternoon. It was one of my friends 21st while we were there and Milan made her a cake and a traditional Slovenian barbecue,... More

We stayed for 3 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was very very friendly, did everything for us (from free drives to the lake to preparing breakfast early in the morning). Dont expect too much from the rooms, its not a hotel! You wont find all the luxury that you can find in Bled, but instead... More
