I have stayed at the Grand for five nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. Not finding much information about the hotel online, I was frankly apprehensive, particularly since I have found what I thought to be an incredible rate ($290 for five nights in a double room). When I arrived, the hotel exceeded all of my expectations (and I travel frequently... more

During our 3-week stay, staff went out of their way to assist in many ways; ei. local directions, translations and booking our train for a day trip. The public areas are inviting and conducive to socializing; we met some interesting people. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The dining room is lovely and has a great breakfast buffet. The... more

Recently stayed here for two evenings on a business trip. I had a 'Superior' double, with king-size bed. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Fantastic shower area. Paid €75 per night including breakfast. Breakfast is buffet-style with everything you can think of available. This is a fantastic price for a hotel of this quality so close to the centre of Warsaw.... more

Being twice in this year, I am really impressed, how much has gained this hotel after renovation.I dare to say, that now there are one of the best and comfortable rooms in Warsaw. The contemporary design is creatively connect with comfort and functionalism. The absolutely hit is shower cabin with the glass wall to the sleeping part. Also the lighting,... more

We appreciate the kind words the reviewer has for our hotel and we would agree that the extensive renovations from last year have breathed new life into one of Warsaw’s most famous hotels. Briefly, we would like to respond to the comment about a lack of parking during the guest’s stay in April 2009. Since May 2009 there is hotel...

The hotel has recently been totally renovated and it was a pleasure to stay there for the 3 nights we were in Warsaw. Location-wise, it was not in the center of the action and not that close to the Old Town, but it was fantastic to come back to every evening. The shower was extremely spacious and lots of fun... more

The Grand was done up recently to become a Mercure. I stayed in a single (?) room - i.e. their most basic. Sizewise, it was terrible. Smaller than Ibis hotels I have been in. They managed to fit in a bed, a small table, and a narrow closet - but that's about it. The design is poor - they put... more

Very nice hotel, good location, great breakfast, clean rooms. I have no objection, the only thing - the price I paid arround 250 euro for night what is I think little bit non-sense. But I heard it was due to some extra conditions. more

The hotel has been reburbished so everything is brand new & very well designed. I stayed in a single room but the bed was like a small double bed - perfectly adequate for me & I'm over 6 foot / 1.9m tall. The staff were great. The internet was free & pretty fast - you just need a cable. The... more

Dear Readers, We appreciate the kind words the reviewer has for our hotel and we try to ensure all our guests have similar experiences staying with us. We would like to correct a minor detail in the review regarding the price of breakfast. The price for full buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant is 70 PLN per person including tax,...

I stayed with a few friends at this hotel last month. We were all booked into Superior Rooms at an amazing price of ~£50 per night (excl breakfast). The rooms were all large and well equipped. I had a problem with my A/C on the first night, so I am promptly relocated to another floor which had a superior room.... more
