When travelling on business, one needs to concentrate on business, not fight the Hotel for a good nights sleep, easy access to internet and trying to get some clean towels. The Mercure Chopin has this sloppy internet service provided at a rip-off cost by Orange. With the price of broadband, in most of the world, available to a point where... more

The hotel is about 15 mins by bus from the old town square which (i personally think is the best part of the city.) It has an impressive exterior and lobby area but i personally think the rooms were a bit small for two people sharing. Breakfast was good and meals generally have a good variety. I can't comment on... more

LOCATION: Great location, center of Warsaw easy access to major siteseeing locations via bus or Taxi for nominal fee. 10 minutes walk to "Hard Rock Cafe", "Zlote Tarasy" Shopping center and Palace of the Culture. Safe area after dark and on the main corridor to the airport, which is only 30 minutes away via Taxi in morning traffic. 10 minutes... more

This hotel is in a very good location and is close to the main train station and many of the attractions in Warsaw. Upon our arrival, we walked to the hotel and despite our early arrival on a Sunday we found that our room was ready. It was lovely to be able to freshen up after an overnight train journey.... more

So depends what your priorities are - I was staying here on business and needed to be on form so a good night's sleep was what I was after. Unfortunately I couldn't sleep for two nights: My room was next to a cupboard that appeared to contain some kind of power unit - so a loud buzzing kept me awake... more

We stayed one night in May 2008. This was a stopover in Warsaw (less than 24 hours) so location was the main point. The room and furniture was very dated, with tatty furniture. It was clean though, and there was a "hot deal" on Accor Hotels website, which made it better priced than nearby hotels. The location was great for... more

I've spent almost a month in Warsaw. And i've spent couple of nights at Novotel Airport, Sofitel Victoria and Mercure F.Chopin. And this hotel is without a doubt the worst choice. Shabby furniture like the time has stopped here in the early 90's. There is no vault, no bar, you have to pay extra for the wi-fi, you can't open... more

This hotel, despite of its rude look form the outside; is very well furnished and equipped to your location stay. The hotel is situated in the famous 'Jana Pav-wa' (true polish pronunciation; very close to the business center (walk of 5 mn only) For the historic center, it takes 40mn by walk. Better to hire a cab if you are... more

i stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my mother in may 2007, on the 6th floor. the rooms were fairly average, the bathroom was more than adequate and our room was made everyday. we didnt have a mini-bar, but there was a liquor store just down the street that im sure is much more cost-effective anyway. the windows... more
