Good location, clean and stylish hotel. Staff are very helpful and often go out of their way to assist. Breakfast spread is ok but better to order to get a hotter and fresher plate. Air flow in the hotel suffers a bit and non-smoking rooms have a smokey residual smell. Nevertheless, the price I got through my agent was excellent and well worth it - quiet and very roomy accomodtion. No room safe. more

I chose the Jan Sobieski primarily for its location (10 minute walk to my office to the west of the centre) and very keen rate on Octopus. There's nothing I particularly like or dislike about the hotel. It has the usual lack of character for a business hotel but it has everything you need for a short stay. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of options (even when the hotel is quiet and underpopulated)... more

Jan III Sobieski hotel is distinctively stylish. My colleagues and I felt very fortunate to find rooms over there and for a price much cheaper than we expected (through last minute travel web site). We set a very important business conference in one of its facilities and it really worked out for us. We are very grateful. The hotel is beautifully designed, very well kept and very comfortable, suitable for both business travelers and tourists.... more

We stayed at the hotel Jan III Sobieski for three nights in the beginning of December. We found the hotel to be generally fine, only a few small problems. We found the location of the hotel to be quite good; although not situated that near the old town, there were really good public transport connections to many directions from the hotel. Trams were easy to use and quicker than busses in the traffic jams. The... more

As an extended family of 14, we had always talked about visiting Poland to learn about the country from where my Dad's parents emigrated. It finally happened & in July & August, all of us met in Krakow. After a wonderful stay there, we eventually arrived at the Sobieski in Warsaw. From the start, everything was terrific. Our room keys were waiting for us & we had all been placed on the same floor, within... more

I was travelling with my family, one of whom is in a wheelchair with limited mobility. Handicap room was spacious and totally functional. Service at reception, concierge and bellhop were excellent. Majiec, the concierge, was always on hand to help us with out of the ordinary tourist requests. Breakfast buffet was plentiful. Highly recommend. more

I have only great things to say about this gem. The rooms were large, amenities good, very clean and in a nice location to the city centre. The Jan III Sowbieski far surpassed my expectations and was wonderful positive to my trip. more

Positives - very friendly hotel staff - big and clean rooms and bathroom - plentiful and fresh breakfest buffet - 3km from City center (2 Stops from Warszawa Centralna with Tram or Bus) - hotel guests can use sauna / whirl pool (Jacuzzi) for free No negatives. Its very nice hotel, better than in some reviews... I will come again. The best hotel I have ever been. more

Very beautiful Hotel, placed at a very central place and very near to all sorts of public transports. Hotel staff is soooooooo friendly and go out of the way to provide any kind of help you ask them. Hotel interior may be some what old fashioned but still the rooms are worth a comfortable stay. Only draw back in the room is the Tv. Not many english channels. The breakfast is full of varieties, but... more

This was my first time in Warsaw, so I was a bit apprehensive booking unknown hotels so I went online and got the Jan III Sobieski at a reasonably good price ($85ish all in). The location was a reasonably short 10-minute walk from the train station... overall I had an okay stay but have mixed emotions about the hotel. 1. Facilities are what you'd expect for the old Eastern Europe, but c'mon, doesn't Warsaw want... more
