To start from the good things- stuff is friendly, location is good. If you are a person who spends 30minutes taking shower - well, if you like cold water, you can still do it at Emma. The temperature of the water changes by itself. So once you have hot water and 20sec later it's freezing cold. The temperature is not... More

I'd say it's just an average warsaw hostel - It's ok to stay for a few days, but it's nothing special. Location - fine. Walking distance from the train station, located close to Marszalkowska, one of the main streets of Warsaw. Staff was fine - kind and helpful. It's owned by vegetarians which means no meat inside policy - it... More

We stayed at Emma for three nights and enjoyed our stay. A comfortable walk from the central station and old town. a small grocery, pubs, and various restaurants are all close by. The rooms and bath are very clean and Eco-friendly. Would recommend and stay here again.

I stayed here early in summer 2011, around May/June when it had just opened, so all the rooms weren't fully completed. On our level there was still a lot of construction going on, so I can't really say what it looks like now, but we had a nice bathroom on our level at least :) Because we had a large... More

5 of us stayed over for the Euro 2012 Semi Final and it couldn't have been better. The staff were friendly, accomodating and very helpful. They let us have a late checkout and keep our bags at the Hostel overnight the second night when we didn't have a room booked. The facilities were great, clean rooms and they had plenty... More

I was excited for this hostel- good ratings, lots of character. My friend and I were in town for an entire week for a conference. Yet the hostel was overrun by dodgy men. There were a bunch of older, male guests that took over the kitchen much of the time, not doing much besides staring at the few girls that... More

I was really excited for this hostel, but it was slightly disappointing. The atmosphere was pretty dull, none of the guests seemed interested in any social interaction and the staff didn't seem to be encouraging it. The vegetarian breakfast was very weak. The bathrooms and rooms were very clean and spacious. The mattresses on the bed were not mattresses at... More

The place is nice, fairly priced, and enviornmentally friendly. The staff are amazing. I left an identification card, and they returned it to me through the mail. I will always come back to Emma Hostel.

Right from the moment that I entered Emma Hostel, I knew it was going to be a strange one. The staff aren't overly friendly, and when they were, it seemed rather rehearsed. It's an eco-friendly place, so they request that you separate your trash, and no cooking meat inside either! Thankfully, the whole place is very clean and well-situated- about... More
