You cannot beat the location of this Old Town small hotel, one of the less than handful in this charming spot of Warsaw. My room overlooked the Plac Zamkowy with the Kings' Castle and Vistula river...a million dollar view! The hotel stulff was accommodating and friendly, the elevator worked, the room was well furnished with impeccable bathroom and the price... More

Inspite of the central location and high ceilinged rooms, the super thin mattresses and slow lift work - as underlined by previous reviews-against the comfort one would expect, have to take the lift to believe it.Staff quiet helpful but could do with a smile.Breakfast not bad

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Starting with the good. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and with an amazing view. There was plenty of hot water after a day of site seeing. The hotel is in a fantastic location. However, the claim that there was a constant supply of tea and coffee was certainly not the case. We had... More

You have to climb several flights of stairs to get to the hotel rooms (lift wasn't working during my stay but I don't mind the exercise), but the view from the window, opening right onto Castle Square with Sigismund's Column in prominent view, is amazing. My room was clean, spacious, with plenty of natural light, and prettily furnished. Location is... More

For starters, I am not even sure how I would have made a reservation. Dom Literatury was recommended by a friend of a friend and the reservation was made for my husband and me. While I would have no interest in returning, I also have no regrets about staying there. The experience provided a memorable adventure, although not always in... More

Staying this near the palace square, feel like a writer in the attic! You need to like to take the breakfast on your own in your room, but you have a neat table. The solitude will add to your inspiration and downstairs you have old Warsaw at your feet Bed is sober and centuries old. Not for people who have... More

Me and my mom stayed here for one night and the place caught our fancy at once. Good price, pretty atmospheric place without any luxury. Economies but everything what you need. They have very funny old elevator.

When I visit Warsaw, I always stay in my little "royal castle" in the Old Town, right next to the real one. It's called Dom Literatury - Literature House. On the third floor of this historical building is located a hotel with windows overlooking the panorama of this city. Several Polish writers lived in these rooms before, so in addition... More

The rooms were nice, spacious and clean, the location next to the castle square is brilliant. Bed was comfortable, no complaints there. The downside is the breakfast. It is served on several tables along the corridors; you can take a tray into your room and eat there. Not very convenient (especially if, like me, you're there with several colleagues and... More

Terrible experience! Breakfast totally insufficient and served, without staff, in the middle of the corridor. Stinky stairways and corridor. Staff not English speaking. Hot water in the bathroom available only in the mornings. Place to avoid!
