Hotel Lech is cheap (30-40e/room) old-school hotel in central Poznan, 5-10 mins walk from both market square and railway station. Rooms are what they are, old small short beds with furnitures from 70's. Toilets are recently renovated and clean though. Rooms that are street side are noisy because of traffic and trams so ask for room in the other side.... more

My boyfriend and I went to Poznan in May for 4 nights. As it was also a business trip, we were offered the Lech hotel for these 4 nights. So after reading the reviews, we were a little hesitant but still decided to give it a try. When you walk in the hotel, the people are nice and friendly, everything... more

There is a tram system in Poznan. I know this because every time one went past my whole room shook. Luckily after copious amounts of beer I got to sleep but this hotel is very very noisy, especially if you are on the front corner facing the street where the trams stop and go past. Also the curtains don't stop... more

Rooms are very basic, with 2 single beds pushed together to make a double. The rooms are noisy and vibrate when the trams go past every 10mins. The room smelt of cigarettes. I wouldnt bother going here. more

I'm normally used to 4* so I'm probably going to be a bit harsh here, but I wasn't much of a fan of the Lech. Old fashioned, nasty single beds, unfriendly reception staff, rubbish bathrooms without proper showers (the shower head was simply attached to the middle of the way, more designed for hair washing in the bath than actual... more

Clean and tidy hotel located in the very centre of the city. The main problem is that its location is on a corner with trams running along the front and side of the hotel. They start at 5.00am and run until after mid night, these are old communist block trams that shake the foundations and windows of the buildings so... more

This hotel is about a 20 minute walk from the train station and about a 15 minute walk from the central Rynek. There are several bus and tram stops nearby. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and my single room was large, bright, and comfortable. As elsewhere in Poland, the room curtains were quite sheer, so while they ensured... more
