Building is old, soviet style, gardens are unkept and grass is 6ft high, rooms are basic but comfortable, only 1 english tv channel.. sky news uk. Warning if you have young kids or drink, do not open the 'balcony' door, its a 'french style' balcony with only a very short guard to prevent falls... i was on level 7 and... more

The bad news? Ikar provided a smallish room with an uncomfortable bed, dated and worn furnishings, small TV with limited channel selections, very small bathroom with plastic shower stall, and a mediocre breakfast at the outrageous price of 200 euro per night. The good news? free internet, desk staff was reasonably helpful, and.....it was a place to sleep. more
