Stayed there for 1 night, I was looking for a cheap hotel. The hotel is very good for a 2 stars, large room, clean, bathroom spot-on a bit old fashioned. Staff very friendly & speaking English, also they still have a liftman

When I first entered the hotel one of the staff told me that this hotel is more that the 70 years old!! Well you definitely get to see that grey effect!! But I am writing this review in a way to thank the staff from Polonia Palast. I forgot an expensive personal item in the hotel and I got it... More

Average ** hotel - if it's one night only just fine. But don't think it will be more than polish **. A nice building outside - inside it's a waste. Location is very good. Rooms and bathrooms clean and spacious. Poor breakfast buffet.

This basic hotel near the station has fascinating retrò atmosphere. The building is old and nice from outside. I would not stay there a second time, but I can recommend it for one night. The reception was very friendly. The room is very basic, with old styled furniture from the 70s and the bed towels were not completely clean. On... More

We stayed there for one night in May 2011. It has an excellent location. The tram stop is at the front of the hotel and the train station across the road. However even if it is right on the busy road, the hotel is very quiet inside. It may be due to a very thick walls. Everything in this hotel... More

Polonia Hotel is located in the very best center of Lodz. Walk distance to most of valuable venues of the city is a great asset of this place. Dont bother eating a breakfast there - you better take a 5 minute walk into the city and find one of great bistros. I recommend taking rooms on the upper floors -... More

I stayed three nights in the Polonia Palace while attending a conference in Lodz. The hotel is very well located: 5 minutes from the train station (with the bus from/to the airport), and only a 10 minute walk from the famous Piotrkowska street with all the nightlife. Also, there's a tram stop just in front of the hotel. I paid... More
