The hostel is a little bit difficult to find since it's located in a rather peripheral neighborhood, but once you've gone up the stairs to the first floor you arrive at an amazing place. First of all, the staff is extremely friendly, cool and eager to help you with all sorts of things. Everyone speaks fluent English and are simply... More

After visiting Grampas for the first time in October of 2013, I've been back twice. The outside of the hostel is a bit sketchy (and the building itself might look a little rundown), but once inside, the hostel is completely modern with the best hostel showers I've ever encountered. As mentioned in other reviews, the bathrooms are quite small so... More

Driving a car I've found the hostel (big sign at the entrance) surprisingly easy. The big old building (looks quite interesting from the front side) near park is just a few hundred meters across the river from the old town which is less than 10 minutes walk away. There is a big free parking behind the building, but you should... More

It's well located, near the centre and in front of a park. Excellent reception and 24h. Would come back and stay more, sadly just one night in Wroclaw. About the free parking is on the street, there's no parking area from the hostel

Overall the hostel itself is nice, the building is a little creepy but the actual facilities are ok. However, there are only 2 showers and 2 toilets for females. You can end up waiting a very long time to shower if it is a busy time. Also, there are no locks on the doors?? I understand in shared accommodation there... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Excellent new hostel, very clean and modern. Very cheap. Great place to meet fellow travellers. Entertainment nearly every night...pub crawls and so on. Free breakfast. Recommend to all. A bit hard to find as the instructions on how to get there via public transportation are not accurate. I suggest just get a taxi as they... More

This is a good hostel in a scary and old building. We've booked the double room with private bathroom for two nights and everything was right except for the hot water. On the second night the hot water was over after 3 minutes of shower and the hostel crew were not able to reestablish it. The same problem followed again... More

If you look at the place from the street it will not appeal to you unless you are an old building lover. But from the moment you step over the threshold, the place it strikes you with color and warmth. For me was an amazing experience. The place is spacious and still you can be close to people. Staff is... More

The rooms are also pretty big and the beds are good too! All the hostel it's pretty new and in very good condition! The building from the... More

I was supposed to stay in another Hostel in Wroclaw, but after staying there (Boogie Hostel) for two nights I moved to Grampa's Hostel after it was recommended to me by some friends that were already there. I can say with total honesty that this is an exceptional hotel, and I can think of no way at all to improve... More
