To reach the hotel you have to go through a dark and unpleasantly looking neighborhood. Also the view is not much, since there is a huge heating plant on the opposite side of the road. Besides those two minor drawbacks, though, the hotel is great value. Staff is really helpful and pleasant. Rooms are just OK.

Thank you for your comment about staying at our hotel. We are happy that overall you liked staying with us :) Unfortunately we cannot change the area around us, however city council is working on renovation of many buildings around us, so keep fingers crossed. The park at our hotel is already changed and now it is great for a... More

just returned from Wroclaw, stayed at Akira , no problems. Areas a bit shabby but seemed perfectly safe & very quiet- no drunks or people hanging about. Staff friendly, breakfast was fine. room was small but clean & comfortable apart from floppy pillow which is a fault i've found in other Central European hotels that charge more. Especially liked the... More

We arrived in the day time and left our car outside, the area seemed a little shabby but we thought nothing of it. The hotel is nice inside, the receptionist was very pleasant. Lugging 2 huge suitcases up 2 flights of stairs wasn't much fun, so a lift might be good. Our room was pleasant but far far too small.... More

We were looking for a good hotel in Wroclaw and Akira turned out to be a great choice! It is a very friendly, cozy and clean place. Not a big hotel but that is way we liked it. We knew the hotel is not located at Rynek but it wasn't really far from the centre. It took us maximally 20... More

For my rating of Akira I have also considerd value for money :-) The room was very small but very cheep. We only needed a place to sleep so for us was it ok. It is not at town square but a taxi from Akira to town center was only 7-25 zl depending where we wantet to go. Reception allways... More

Rooms are somewhat small but are clean and you'll find everything you need inside. Staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast selection was sufficient and tasteful. Hotel is 10-15 min walk away from the main square. Lastly, rooms at this hotel are offered at a very reasonable cost.

I stayed for two nights during euro12 recently and bar the exorbitant pricing, everything about my stay was perfectly satisfactory. It is an incredibly friendly place, the staff could not do enough for me - maps, advice, friendly chatter. Upon check in I was given a choice of free gifts that were on display, all euro12 memorabilia, a lovely touch... More

This is a hotel. The breakfast was average and you had to pay for coffee. I have run a B and B and we did not charge guests for coffee. Also you had to get shower soap from the front desk. I found it a bit too far away from the main square but close to the Jewish quarter. On... More

My family stayed at Akira when they visited me in Wroclaw. I chose the hotel due to low prices of the rooms and the close distance from the centre. I was positively surprised by the standard of the place and the friendliness of the staff. With some small exceptions (strange light detector in the bathroom, no bath only shower, small... More
