After walking nearly 8 Km in the cold to reach this really beautiful spot, the litrle chalet had some nicer surprises for us! We ordered baszt, jurek and the best ; placki with grilled oszipeck and crsnberry sauce. All was nice, fresh and tasty! We finished with a nice apple pie! Recimmanded to all brave trekkers !

I would like to recommend Schronisko na Polanie Chocholowskiej for those who need an accommodation in the heart of Tatra Mountains and look for really nice atmosphere. This place offers a lot of opportunities for mountaineering and visiting whole Western part of Tatra Monutains - the most interesting and highest in Poland. This is obviously not a hotel but a rather large mountain hut in the heart of the Western Tatras. As a mountain hut it offers only limited services, but the location is what counts. The hut is bookable over phone but if you arrive without a reservation and its overfull, you'll be offered some floorspace in a common room for... More
