What saved this review from being a poor review is that the staff were helpful in trying to resolve the problems and even delivered a bottle of wine to us as a way of apology. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the main part of the main street. It is in a nice quiet area of Zakopane... More

This was our second visit to this hotel and it was as good as we remembered. The staff are so helpful as they booked tickets for our group to go up in the cable car at Kuznice and organised taxis for us very efficiently. The hotel is situated out of the rather tacky centre of Zakopane right on the edge... More

The Belvedere is a well located hotel within easy walking distance to the the centre of Zakopane. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean and the hotel also benefits from a good sized pool, sauna and steam room as well as offering a large selection of massages and treatments making this a great place to unwind after trekking in the... We did not stay at this hotel. We were transported to the restaurant as our restaurant was occupied by weddings & Christenings. The view from our table was gorgeous. The food though a lot more expensive than others we had visited was average only. I enjoyed my grilled bacon & sheep's cheese and a mixed main course salad but the... More

We spent 6 days in this hotel in the purpose to hike the famous mountains like Giewont, Kasprowy,..... The hotel was perfectly located. The Breakfast offered a very good selection which gave us a good start of the day before going hiking. We used the swimming pool, the sauna and the massage service. All good.

I recently visited Zakopane with my family and friends and I have to say Hotel Belvedere is outstanding! The range and quality of the facilities they provide is amazing. We visited during Easter break and it was fantasic to see the high level of effort put into decorations for the holiday period, this reflects the effort they put into the... More

We chose the Belvedere from three hotels in Zakopane featured in the Thomson's Lakes and Mountains brochure. We liked the location, close to the mountain paths yet only a 15 minute walk into town. The hotel was quiet and the main dining room wasn't open in the evenings, so we ate in the terrace bar. The food quality was good,... More

I book the hotel for New year, apart from the food, everything was disappointed. Rooms need updating, 20 years ago I will say this hotel was very high standard.beds unconfortable, sheets very old ,furniture like from the secondhand shops, personel completely unprofessional, children running on the corridors from early in the morning. If this is the best hotel in Zakopane I... Stayed for a few days near Christmas at this great Hotel. Dog friendly and quaint rooms decorated in older style with very comfortable bed and complimentary Christmas Gingerbread cookies. Breakfast included in price was great! Good choice of cold and hot food and beverages all in buffet style. Had 2 meals in the restaurant which were fine. Staff very helpful... More
