We chose the Belvedere from three hotels in Zakopane featured in the Thomson's Lakes and Mountains brochure. We liked the location, close to the mountain paths yet only a 15 minute walk into town. The hotel was quiet and the main dining room wasn't open in the evenings, so we ate in the terrace bar. The food quality was good,... More

I book the hotel for New year, apart from the food, everything was disappointed. Rooms need updating, 20 years ago I will say this hotel was very high standard.beds unconfortable, sheets very old ,furniture like from the secondhand shops, personel completely unprofessional, children running on the corridors from early in the morning. If this is the best hotel in Zakopane I... Stayed for a few days near Christmas at this great Hotel. Dog friendly and quaint rooms decorated in older style with very comfortable bed and complimentary Christmas Gingerbread cookies. Breakfast included in price was great! Good choice of cold and hot food and beverages all in buffet style. Had 2 meals in the restaurant which were fine. Staff very helpful... More

My wife and myself spent our first wedding anniversary here over the weekend. Everything about the hotel was of a very high standard. We arrived late on Friday night and the radiator in the room wasn't working, they had someone up to check it within minutes, and when it was realised it couldn't be fixed, they brought us up, an... My husband came up with the title for this review because of the wonderful breakfast they serve. It really is the best breakfast I have ever had on the Continent with a huge choice of hot and cold dishes. This is a lovely hotel tucked away from the busy town centre yet still only about a ten minute walk away.... More

A beautiful hotel on the southern edge of the main town of Zakopane superbly situated for walking in the Tatra National Park. Its also about 10 minutes walk from the main restaurant/ shop area of the town and about 5 minutes by taxi to the cable car departure point. We stayed in a first floor double room with balcony and... It is a great hotel with very helpful staff. We had a triple share room with comfortable beds. We loved the delicious breakfast which was the best we had in Poland. The hotel has a great pool area and restaurant with good food at reasonable rates. Thanks very much for letting us check-out at 3pm - we had a great... More

We stayed here only one night, as part of a bike tour, and I wish it could have been longer. We had a nice room with a small patio, well furnished with a comfortable bed. We didn't get a chance to use the pool area, but it looked like a lot of fun. Good hotel for kids. Our check-in was... More

My husband and I recently got married in Zakopane and we held our reception at the Belvedere. I can honestly say that I could nothing throughout our stay. The hotel staff, from the waiters to the Management were professional, charming and on standby for anything we could have asked for. The facilities are wonderful, more than your average 4* hotel...
