The Hotel is nice in itself although the Star rating is exaggerated. The spa for instance (steam room could barely fit two people in it). Staff were friendly and helpful although having paid over £150 a night to stay here I was expecting more for my money. Having stayed in other smaller Hotel's in Zakapane you could expect the same... A charming old hotel that's been beautifully and tastefully refurbished. The rooms are good but they tried to give us a standard room when we had paid for deluxe. We had to argue with the receptionist to get moved. We were told by another member of staff that they had overbooked the deluxe rooms. So our room allocation was dishonest... More

The hotel itself is lovely, very charming. Rooms however are not great! very badly planned, wardrobe door opens in front of bathroom door. No proper shower, just a head over the bath with a small screen. Nowhere to put toiletries whilst in shower so have to keep bending down to put on the bath. (not good for bad backs!) Pillows... More

My girl-friend and I spent 1 night there on january 21st on our way to the Tatra mountains. We discovered the place by driving around Zakopane looking for a nice hotel with its own parking facility. The place offers a magnificent Spa with swimming pool, saunas, salt cave etc... absolutely great. The restaurant was excellent, especially the soups on the... More

We purchased a Christmas package to stay in the Marilor Hotel for approximately one week. We previously stayed in Hotel Sabala. We chose this for its spa facilities and to be a bit off the main walking street of Zakopane. Overall, the hotel is very well finished, has nice rooms, the food is fantastic, the pool/sauna area is nice, but... More

Check-in was particularly unprofessional. Breakfast welcome was a disaster, rude service. its bufet has no pastries, no viennoiseries. Room: TV set is outdated of the 80s. No international channels, no movies channels. Very small safebox, without electrical plug. No ironing board. No Unacceptable: bed mattress very bad, the pillowcases had holes, broken. Towells were too old. Worn bathrobes. The hotel... More

We decided to make the most of a rainy Sunday afternoon in Zakopane and decided to head for the spa in the Marikor hotel, since our hotel didn't have one. What a good choice. The facilities are very clean and in great conditions. Enjoyed the pool with Jacuzzi, steam bath and salt cave. We had a full body massage for... More

We were just at Villa Miralor for an overnight stay. It is nice place and they offered good breakfast. If one take the bus from Krakow, the bus station is just opposite the hotel. In the morning we were awakened by a barking dog of the next door neighbor.

This hotel claims to be 5*, which is why we selected our stay at the Villa Marilor. By the looks of the grounds, the hotel is very charming and sophisticated. However, the rooms and amenities are in need of major upgrades in order to be claiming to be 5*. (1) The bed/bedding is in need of upgrades - 5* hotels... More

We stayed at this hotel for only one night in September 2013. We occupied 4 double rooms. I am disabled so one of the rooms was supposed to be wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, the "accesssible" experience at this establishment meant being put up in the smallest room in the hotel, where there was only enough space for a bed (without a... More
