This tourist association-run hostel-type accommodation's biggest asset is it's very cheap. It was rather unwelcoming when we arrived, with the large reception area being shrouded in darkness as all the lights were turned off. However, our double room was spacious, and had a good bathroom with powerful shower, plus a TV (with CNN news in English), fridge and a kettle. No mugs for tea though, just glasses. The beds, however, were weird - the bases, with fixed mattresses seemingly filled with some sort of straw/sacking, were very hard and uncomfortable, with only a few blankets and sheets on top for cushioning. The beds were warm enough as there was a duvet, but our resulting aches and pains definitely hampered our experience of the place. We didn't complain because it was only £60 each for six nights.
