Lovely lodge, exquisite woodwork, lovely bedrooms with ensuite shower room, friendly helpful owners make you feel welcome and at home. Nice buffet breakfast and tea and coffee available all day and evening. Beautiful part of the world. Great skiing in spite of rapidly disappearing snow - we found enough to last us the week! Good ski hire attached to lodge.... more

I visited Fox Hill Lodge back in February with my boyfriend and his family. It was the first time I'd been to Poland and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. We all had different things we wanted to do whilst we were there, some just wanted a relaxing holiday whilst I was raring to get on the slopes. The... more

The lodge was gorgeous and the owners really nice and helped us when ever they could. The lodge was very clean and the rooms lovely, homely and warm. The owner Vic was very helpful he spoke fluent english and polish so booked cabs and took us to near by resorts, he also transferred us from and back to the airport.... more

We stayed at the Foxhill Lodge in Zakopane just a couple of weeks ago. The lodge is big, clean, convenient and very comfortable. My husband and I stayed in a double room and our two friends were in twin/triplet rooms. All rooms were well furnished, the beds were comfortable and the ensuite shower and toilet facilities were great. During the... more

We spent a week here Jan 2009. Vic and Cathy were both wonderful hosts. The guest house is well situated within walking distance of a restaurant/bar and not far from the centre of town. There are two beginner slopes right next door and the ski/snowboard hire is adjoining the property itself. The guest house is clean and modern with usual... more

We arrived at Krakow Airport, took the train to Glowny Railway Station and caught the bus to Zakopane, very efficient service. We booked 8 nights for a ski holiday, but neither of us were overly impressed with Foxhill Lodge. It is beside a very basic nursery slope, so even beginners should be ready to move on after a day, although... more

Me and my boyfriend arrived home yesterday and already wish we had stayed longer! First of all we were picked up by Vic (second half of foxhill lodge team) at the airport and taken back to the lodge. This was a nice option considering we didnt arrive until after it was dark and it was over a 2 hour drive.... more

Have just visited Vic and Cathy at Foxhill Lodge in Zakopane, Poland. Arrived to no snow in the resort but plenty fell the night we arrived! Local low ski runs therefore not open but plenty of skiing further up. Zakopane a busy bustling place and very nice. Visited Aquapark which is worth a try. Foxhill Lodge only provides breakfast and... more
