+++ I chose this hotel as a mid-range (budget) hotel, in order to be very close to the center of Krakow. Although the rooms are spartan, they are classical antique in style and surprisingly very nice. They are large with small balconies. I think its a great budget alternative to staying directly in the center or a major hotel. Just... More

The place is overall fine. Great location, nice spacious vintage rooms which honor what's seen on the pictures, good wifi. Breakfast is also plentiful and good quality. However we were hit by many annoyances: a third floor room with no lift (and these are tall old floors, so it's more like a 4th or 5th modern floor), no toiletries whatsoever... More

Stayed here for a very wet week May. The hotel has large rooms with beautiful parquet floors overlooking the gardens that surround the old town. The hotel is in a lovely location with a short walk to restaurants and the centre of town. When we stayed it did have a lot of young Polish lads staying for the weekend; having... More

This apart hotel was very close to the Old Town and it was roomy. Bathroom was clean. Our room was next to the street but not as noisy as another reviewer commented. Noise will be given but we don't recall being disturbed or bothered by street noise - which we didn't really notice. Hotel keys and reception was next door... More

It's not actually a hotel, you'll have to go to the next door hotel's (that had a different name) reception to get the key and the breakfast is also served there. Rooms have everything one needs for a long weekend if you're not planning on spending it in your room. The tv is old and the decoration is quite old... More

We stayed in an apartment for a long weekend. It is close to the city centre (5-10min walk), close to the public transport, parking is right around the building (and free at weekends). 24hrs reception was a great advantage as we arrived close to midnight. Our room was simply equipped, but we had all we needed (TV, internet, boiling kettle).... More

My room in fact, was directly on the main road - terrible - noisy - Trams / cars / traffic and noisy party people till about 1-2 am.....and Traffic starting around 6am. Or... More

just back from a fabulous break in krakow. The Pokoje Goscinne Basztowa is situated within eye shot of the main train station & just a two minute walk into the beautiful old town district of krakow, so you really couldn't ask for more conveniently located accommodation. However the downside to this is if you have a room overlooking the main... More

Great hotel with a great location close to the main square and Krakow Old City. Rooms are extremely spacious, clean, not old, and bathroom facilities are great. The owners were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not included, but well priced with plenty of buffet options. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We randomly stumbled upon this guest house while searching for a place to stay in Krakow. Originally we were planning on staying at the Hotel Polonia but the front desk recommended we check out their guest room for half the price. The rooms were spacious, clean and only 260 zloty for three people. Honestly you could fit five people (or... More
