The whole place is attractively decorated and the room was spacious enough to have a little sofa-and-coffee-table area too. The location is excellent - only just outside the ring of parks which circle Krakow's old town, so close enough to walk to all the sights without paying the premium that seems to attach to all hotels within the ring.
Two of the three receptionists we dealt with spoke excellent English and one just a little, but all were helpful and cheerful. The guest rooms are actually above the Jordan travel agency, which is really handy if you want to enquire about tours or any other aspect of travelling in Poland.
The only downside was that trams passing along the tracks just in front of the hotel were quite noisy, but don't let that put you off. If you're a light sleeper maybe see if you can request a room not facing the street.
