Nice and pleasant hotel, near railway station. The area is pleasant and few meters of Opera and Planty. Noice of trains but not a real problem. We stayed at the Hotel Alexander II for 3 nights from 21st – 24th August. This was due to a problem with our original booking at their sister hotel, the Alexander Hotel, where previous guests had damaged the plumbing in two rooms, rendering them useless and flooding reception. Nice little hotel a short walk from the main square. Just be aware of the train line which runs along the side of the hotel. If you are a light sleeper make sure your room is on the other side. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff. more
