Stayed here for 4 nights and whilst the hotel is ideally situated for sightseeing Krakow the staff at the hotel were very sombre and really quite unhelpful. This spolis a lovely hotel somewhat but still enjoyed our stay

What a fabulous hotel, right in the middle of anywhere you would want to visit in Krakow, 5mins walk from the Central Stn, & the main shopping centre, the Galleria Krakowska, 10mins from the Rynek (Main Sq.) and all the shops, the Christmas Market & Ice rink, not forgetting the massive Christmas trees all over the city. The hotel, very... More

Great stay - great place. We went in January 2012 and had a fantastic stay. Lovely reception (couldn't do more for us when we had a little leak in the room). Great Breakfast room with great breakfasts. Warm, cozy, neat and tidy. A great place. Would stay there again. January is a great time to stay in Krakow as they... More

Nice clean hotel, rooms spacious with friendly staff, however our room looked directly down onto the railway which wasn't an issue for me personally as I'm a heavy sleepy, good value for money in a beautiful city! Worth a stay

Very good value for money. Hotel was close to central train station, shopping and restaurants etc... It was very clean and comfortable. Older style, maintain reasonably well. Breakfast was provide which was fine too. Would stay again.

We booked at the Hotel Alexander I. Arrived at the hotel to learn they didn't have a room for us and they sent us in a prepaid taxi to their sister hotel, Hotel Alexander II. Worse location, right on top of a whole host of railway tracks that literally shook our room whenever a train would go by. When we... More

The hotel is situated very very close to the main Krakow railway. Which is very busy! Trains stopped about 23:30 and started around 04:30 which means we got little sleep as they were really loud even with the windows shut. We did read the reviews about it being close but didn’t realise how close it was, never mind at least... More

This hotel is located about a five minute walk from the city center. We arrived by car and had no problem parking it on the street right next to the hotel. However, the hotel is right next to the railway with trains passing all night and you could feel the vibrations through the bed (and hear the sound!). I was... More

Not too happy about this hotel. Gave us two beds instead of a double one. One of the beds had dirty sheets and a plastic cover under that were really annoying and disgusting. There were hair in the shower and were in general a dirty hotel. We didn't even bother to eat the breakfast and the staff weren't too friendly.... More

This hotel really is a mixed bag of pros and cons. It's in a safe neighborhood within walking distance to the train station if you are robust - we were each laden with heavy rolling suitcases and two "carry on" bags and found the 3-4 block trek easy. And . . . Like everybody else is saying . . .... More
