Hotel obviously geared towards the business traveller as reception area was sterile and bland, with the conference centre on show as soon as you entered. Staff were also very business-like. Altho' (mostly) helpful, I gave up hoping for, or expecting, anyone to smile or acknowledge you as you walk past. Only English TV channel in room was an American business... more

We had a really bad experience with this hotel. During our stay, we needed to stay one more night in Krakow and because of Spatz being full that night, we ebded up here. Oh G****, what a mistake! The double room we wre assigned in was more of a storage room than a bedroom! We paid for a double room... more

Hotel is ideally located to get around Krakow really easily! Rooms are basic but everything you need and clean. Restaurant , service and food were excellent. Breakfast was really good, wide choice of items, piping hot and replenished throughout service. An evening meal was excellent and moderately priced. Polish food is fantastic anyway, and the hotel did a great job... more

The Wyspianski is well located a few minutes walk from the main square (Rynek Glowny) and five minutes walk from Krakow’s mainline station. A ticket between this station and the airport costs just 6PLN. Trains run every half hour and the journey takes just 15 minutes. Most of the highlights of the city are within walking distance from the hotel.... more

The only redeeming qualies of this hotel were the location and the restaurant. The beds were terrible. There were dead bugs around the desk lamp that were not cleaned during our two night stay. The bathroom was tiny. It was quite warm outside and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. more

We spent about £50 for a twin room at this hotel (eur67,50) The hotel is right in the centre of Krakow, staff are polite and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. For the price we paid it was everything we needed. Comfy beds, clean room/bathroom. Breakfast was fine. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Krakow. If you want... more

We booked this hotel at the same time we booked flights through easy jet and got a great deal. The hotel appears shabby on first appearance however it is very clean and comfortable. It is in an excellent position for visiting the centre of Krakow. The room we had again had single beds even though we had requested a double,... more

The hotel was booked at the same time as the flights via the Easyjet site. The rates were very reasonable. We did ask for a double room but the room we got had two single beds that were laid head to toe in the narrow room. The room we had had a poor view across the car park, however, the... more

Decided on this Hotel after reading other reviews. The outside of the Hotel looks a bit offputting with cracked and peeling paint and the aura of a communist police block BUT once inside it is great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room (I had a cheap one) did have a strange bed arrangement - twin beds head to... more
