This place is incredible. I was greatly disappointed to find out my hostel’s “breakfast included” was nothing but instant coffee and store-bought, sliced bread with jelly that was who knows how old, so when I set out to find a good breakfast place, this looked like just the thing! I got coffee (which I think was real, brewed coffee!) the... More

I stayed here for 4 nights. No elevator though the staff does carry your bags to your room. I had a huge room on the top floor. It had skylights, separate bedroom with queen size bed, living room with couch, 2 chairs and another twin size bed. The room also had a sink and refrigerator. The room was clean and... More

Stayed at Mikolaj for 3 days and had a great time! Location is very convenient. Walking distance from train station and all other attractions. Staff was great! Included breakfast is good too! Hotel does not have an elevator, that's the only negative I can think of. The staff helped in moving my luggage - much appreciated! Would surely recommend to... More

Just returned last night from 3 nights to celebrate a friend's major birthday in Krakow and stayed at the Hotel Mikołaj. I can only compliement the stay as the room was massive (no 21 - 3 of us so a triple), spotless and clean. There was a large walk in shower with a powerful jet to blow away the hangovers... More

Stayed at Mikolaj Hotel between the 23rd and 25th February. Hotel is basic, but very clean and well looked after. Rooms are large. No aircon so imagine it gets hot in summer. But a great budget option. Continental breakfast is good and quite varied for the size of the place. Staff are very helpful. My friend, Whisper, became ill on... More

We were originally booked in at the Classic Hotel, however on arrival we were informed that our room was unavailable due to English tourists damaging the room? We were then told to go to the Mikolaj which was just around the corner. Both Hotels are well positioned for the old town, restaurants and bars etc. However we were in room... More

The Mikolaj is well placed near the Market Square and next to the Music Academy (which used to be communist party HQ). We stayed in Room 32 at the top of the building. That meant dragging our luggage up 4 long flights of stairs. The room was very large with a sitting area and a good size bathroom. The walls... More

We had been sent here from Hotel Rt Regent as our room at the Regent was not available (for that info see Regent review). The Mikolaj is very central - a stone's throw from the main market square. However, we were in room 14 at the top of a short stair from where we could hear all the noise downstairs... More
