Good place for youth groups. Quite cheap, helpful staff, not far to the city centre. On the way to the centre there are many restaurants and places where you can eat cheap and delicious meals. You can meet Jewish history.

spacious rooms . we got room of 8 people divided to 2 rooms. there is free WiFi but the entrance is sort of hidden in a shared building entrance. this is downside means that you can be too loud in there. the 24h reception is handy if you are planning to come late. the location is really close to Kazimierz... this is not a hotel, it is a hostel, dont get confused. the rooms are basic but clean. the hostel is not very welcoming as it has a rather dull shared entrance which you need to buzz to be allowed in to a dark cold corridor which leads to a staircase which is equally as cold and dark which leads... What I liked the most about this hostel is our room. It was actually an apartment divided into 3 separate rooms, each with three beds so we had a lot of space. There was a little table with a couch and a balcony as well. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was better than expected. Love the location because Kazimierz... More

It's a great hostel with good location (in the center of Krakow), comfortable and lovely rooms, interesting design, but the most impressive thing during my staying there was kind, responsive and friendly staff!!! They helped me a lot with tickets and give me answers on all my questions!)) I want to say "thank you" to all administrators of hostel Tara!))... More

I chose Tara Hostel because I wanted to stay for one night in good location and I did'nt want or need much (no TV, radio, chance to boil water). The room was renovated, spacious, clean and colorful. It was simple to get there and the 30 minute walk from there to city is one of the best thing about the... More

Dorm rooms were very large and spacious with clean and adequate shower, toilet and kitchens. Hostel is 40min walk or quick taxi/tram ride from the central train and bus station. It is located very near the old town and castle and is an excellent base for sight seeing. The free breakfast served across the street is pretty poor.

We arrived from London to Krakow airport and then to the main train station. At first it looked complicated to find the hostel but once we were out on the street it was very easy. The hostel is located in a nice area between the Main Square, River Vistula and the Kazimierz. Public transport is on thr door steep too.... More

Stunning architecture. Frustrating that we only had two nights there....could have done more. Superb location. The reception staff are excellent! They go out of their way, the lady that checked us in could not do enough to settle us in and she had a great sense of humour (And I love their accents!) which made us a feel very welcome.... More
