We recently stayed at the Ascot Hotel and found it to be just what we expected a charming small hotel with friendly helpful staff in a brilliant location within minutes of the Old Town and ten minutes from the Train & Bus station handy for travel to Auschwitz and the Airport on public transport. The reception was small and compact... more

It's a clean and new hotel with staff that seem like they don't really want to work there. Don't even bother with the buffet breakfast. We have travelled a lot throughout Europe and it's the worst we've ever had, which is very surprising because next to Budapest, Krakow has the best food in Europe. If you can, I would try... more

A small gem of a hotel close to old town and railway station. The staff were really friendly and one even translated a message from English into Polish to put on a postcard to a Polish friend. The room on the 4th floor we stayed in was immaculately clean and ovelooked tbe quiet road. Kettle is not supplied; we took... more

Ascot Hotel is ideal - very central, friendly staff, clean, good breakfast, reasonably priced - we even had an Irish night in the bar with singing and set dancing ( enjoyed by all ). My friend even sold one of her CD's [--]. Maybe tea / coffee and water in bedrooms ? - but not a neccessity. A great time... more

The Ascot is a clean, simple hotel. It is close to the railroad station and the Old Town. The room was comfortable. The only problem was that the Wifi was weak and I had to keep going near the door or into the hall to get reconnected. more

Hotel was spotlessly clean; the room was nicely decorated and furnished and the bathroom fabulous. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. It was about a 10 min stroll from the edge of the Old Town. The worst thing was that (apart from at breakfast) you couldn't get tea/coffee until 2pm, but that... more

The reviews are spot on. This hotel is a little gem - it's spotlessly clean, the staff are lovely, the rooms are a good size - all in all my sisters and I were delighted with our choice of hotel in Krakow. It's a 3 star but deserves a higher rating. Negative point - there are no tea and coffee... more

Hotel is located in a quiet area but nevertheless very close to all major attractions of the city. The building itself is not particularly pretty, however once inside you cannot fail to be impressed with the facilities for a three star hotel. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and all the rooms and public areas are spotless. Breakfast is fairly... more

When you first arrive the facade of the hotel looks a little bland but don't be put off. Once inside you will find the staff to be very helpful and they all speak excellent English. We had a triple room and there was enough room for all of us,even if my teenage daughter did take up most of the space... more
