Stayed in the Ascot hotel. Nice and clean hotel, staff friendly, helpful, breakfast had a good selection with hot food as well. Location was excellent for the city, just a few minutes away, as was the shopping centre, bus and railway station. rome clean and tidy, air con included, our room overlooked the road, but hardly any noise, was heard... Stayed here 8th-12th Sept. Hotel rooms were clean, bathroom had good shower, towels changed as needed. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was served 7am - 10.30am, plenty of choice. We would leave hotel after breakfast explore all that Krakow had to offer and return each evening to a friendly welcome and nightcap, the hot chocolate with grand marnier - delicious,... More

Just returned from a 4 night stay in Krakow and found this hotel perfect. It is a 5-10 minute walk into the main Market Square in The Old Town, The Wawel Castle and River Wisla are reached by a 10 minute stroll through the park. If you like shopping, the huge shopping mall is 500ms away. The hotel offered kindly... More

Stayed for 4 days august/september. Room OK, but a small fridge could be added. Bathroom nice and clean. Beds good, though some noise from passing trains through night. Breakfast OK. Total: Very good.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 2 friends in a triple room. Great room size, very clean bathroom. Only disadvantage of the room is that we were on the 2nd floor facing the back and even with the windows closed, the passing trains at the back were pretty loud (just lucky my friends and I could sleep through anything). Apart... More

Stayed here for a week in August. The hotel is a modern building in a side street of older properties. The walk back at night felt very safe. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from the railway station (and the new shopping centre) and about the same to the Krakow main square. As Krakow itself is not big all... More

I stayed here with a friend from the 11 August for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The welcome was friendly and informative, the room clean, quiet and spacious, and the breakfast in the morning had a wide range of meats, cheeses and cereals. The location is brilliant too - a 5-10 min walk to the... More

^ of us - 3 couples - had 4 nights at the Ascot in June. It was all that we had hoped for and a bit more too. I asked for rooms facing the front on floor 3 and got them. Although we were not at the back we didn't hear any trains at all. The road at the front... More

I thoroughly recommend Krakow's Ascot Hotel. I was stayed there recently with my twin sister on our trip around Poland. We were travelling by train and chose the hotel because of its proximity to the train station. We were thrilled to discover that the hotel was also only a short walk from the old town square and most of the... More
