Reception staff very helpful and friendly and spoke good English as did most people in the bars and resteraunts in the city. My friend and I stayed at Hotel Amber for 4 nights while visiting Krakow. We could not have asked for more. Our room was rather large by European standards, very quiet and clean. Really one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Very conveniently situated, immaculately clean, well appointed rooms and all the staff were pleasant, helpful, spoke very good English and couldn't have been bettered.
