Paid that little bit extra to have the river view, and had an 06 room which was of a good size and a balcony which is worth having. The room has tea and coffee making facilities so leave the travel kettle at home. Our room had a safe but the previous occupant left it locked, but no hardship. We had... More

We agree with other comments on the right (woth going, small rooms, nice breakfast etc.). Parking situation is poor and expensive, traffic in Kraków is heavy. Best would be to come by train. Roof terrasse must have nice view but we preferred eating in the jewish quarter.

The Hotel Pod Wawelem is in the perfect location for anyone wishing to visit the beautiful Wawel Castle. It is about a one minute walk from the castle walls and also on the river bank. The hotel is fairly new and modern. The room (302) was not the biggest and had a view over a dirty courtyard but it was... More

This a very modest, unpretentious but agreeable hotel. The room was smallish but adequate as we only slept in it. We ate once on the rooftop restaurant and enjoyed our meal and the view. We wanted to eat in the smallish main restaurant on another evening but there was a largish tour group in and only 2 waitresses on duty... More

Good for everyone - right in the heart of town but a quiet location away from bars and noise. Nice rooftop bar and restaurant - menu is no great shakes but fine for what it is. I had pot roast beef enchillados with salad and a polish beer - hit the spot. Rooms immac clean and well serviced - toiletries... More

We booked the hotel for three nights but at the end we decided to stay only two nights. The hotel os very well situated with very good facilities, nice rooms and a very tasty breakfast. There is a public parking place just in front of the hotel, a little bit expensive but thats the price of the place, nothing to... More

We stayed just for one night, but we were very satisfied with everything. People at the reception were very helpful, room was clean and spacious and the breakfast delicious. What is the best is the location. The hotel is situated 2 mins walking from the Wawel castle and 5 mins walking from the Rynek Glowny - city centre. We also... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel with a puppy. The staff were brilliant, kind, caring and always ready to assist with a smile. They made us feel welcome throughout the stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean and it has the best position next to the castle opposite the river. Whilst walking around saw many other hotels, and each time... More

Great location, good wi-fi, clean rooms, nice breakfast, good restaurant on the roof. Near there's an uderground parking, but it's a little bit expensive (91 zloty per day). The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't check-in earlier than 14.00 and then one of tworooms wasn't ready in time.
