The hotel was average, breakfast was a bit dull and boring as it was the same every day. An improvement would be a rotate in breakfast each day and also labelling the foods. Toilets felt like they were falling off the wall however wifi was very good and loved the rooftop bar! Would come again though, polite staff and clean... More

I could not praise the facilities and service enough for our stay in Krakow. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff were very friendly and as for the location it was perfect, Normally we venture out most evenings for meals but the hotel restaurant Malecon offered such amazing food on their rooftop with views across the river and Wawel... We had the apartment suite on the 5th floor corner, with spectacular views of the river and surrounding city including Wawel Castle across the street. The bedroom had two beds and the living room had a sleeper sofa and 2 sleeper chairs -- both rooms were large and very clean. We had 2 bathrooms and with a family that is... More

The hotel was just in front of the river and the castle, at very good location. The old city and the central square are five minutes walking-distance.our room at 5th floor was small but ok. The breakfast was good enough and the staff very helpful. There is a parking just in front of the hotel. At 6th floor there is... More

Chose Pod Wawelem because it is slightly out of the centre and because it is relatively small (47 rooms). It was the right choice! Krakow is an easy walking city so although the hotel enjoys the advantage of a quieter location the Market Square is only a few minutes walk away. And it is wonderful to be literally around the... Stayed here for 4 nights, family in two twin rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and had spectacular views of the river and the castle. The only issue with the rooms was that there did not seem to be enough plug sockets, or rather a long enough lead for the kettle. The staff are super helpful, chatty and funny (great... More

Booked through Hotels.com which proved to be a good method. Great location, we had a nice view over the Wisla river from our room. To reach the old town you just walk 10 minutes, partly through a beautiful park. Reception people were friendly, polite and helpful. Rooms clean and of good standard. The air condition worked well, it was +36C... More

We have stayed here several times, and this was another wonderful and welcoming trip. The room was lovely, as always spotlessly clean. The food in the hotel is delicious, especially try the Apple Cake . . . . To die for!!! Definately our favourite place to stay, handy for all the sights, lovely staff & excellent food. I have said... The hotel is located just in front of the castle and it has the beginning of pedestrian area in its back, so the market square and the core of the Krakow town are really close, meanwhile you can leave your car in safe underground park the other side of the road.

Situated at the foot of wawel hill and the castle and within walking distance of the old town and cloth market. This was our second time to stay and we previously recommended it to another couple. Rooms are large and clean, Malecon restaurant downstairs is fine but nothing special, the upstairs restaurant has fabulous views on a fine day and... More
