We ate here every evening of our stay in Krakow. We all enjoyed the Polish dishes, both quality and quantity was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location could not be bettered. Highly recommended.

We took the apartment at the top of the house. High ceilings with wonderful painted beams and antique furniture. Loads of space, huge bed and a kitchen too. The apartment looks out on to the rear of the main square, so is quiet. Few of the staff speak English, but the manager who does so, is extremely helpful. One bonus... More

We stumbled across this restaurant on our last night in Poland. This dining experience was, by far, the best we had during our stay in Poland. Authentic Polish cuisine. We didn't know it was a hotel. From the outside it looks like a restaurant. I had breaded pork chop, boiled potatoes, and kapusta. Delicious!!!!! My last and best meal in... More

We stayed in the apartment (3) which was huge - spacious enough to comfortably accommodate us in the double bedroom with our daughters on the two sleeper couches in the adjacent lounge / diningroom which is fully separated by a pull across door for privacy. There is also a kitchennete with space for 4 to have breakfast if you require... More

My wife and I stayed at Dom Polonii for several nights. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes quirky, spacious quarters and whose ideal pastime is sipping a beer and watching the world pass by. Dom Polonii is right on the edge of Krakow's vast, central market square. The first floor is a restaurant with a terrace and eight tables,... More

We were a family of 5 travelling with a 73 year old grandmother and 2 adult children. We were accomodated in apartments 1 and 2. Both apartments were very spacious and very clean. The location is fantastic - right on the square , with great views from the 2 double windows. However our apartments are in sore need of some... More

as mentioned before, there are 85 steps. we stayed for seven nights, so 85x30 trips is a lot of steps. That being said, we enjoyed our stay at Dom Polonii. The rooms are decorated with antiques and old paintings, and the apartment (#3) was spacious and airy. There is no air conditioning, so hot nights may be a problem (but... More

This is a fantastic bargain. The top floor (88 stairs up accordiing to my niece) of a Renaissance palace, now used by the Polish Society has been turned into a hotel. Huge rooms overlooking the Rynek at a bargain price. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We visited this hotel in February and couldn't believe how lucky we were, not only because its very reasonable (approx. £44 a night!), but also because of its location and charm! The hotel is built on 3 floors and is in the corner of the main square (Rynek Glowny). There are only 3 rooms and they are on the 3rd... More

We stayed here In October 2006 for 5 nights. We were in a very large appartment at the back of the building, which was very quiet with no noise from the busy square outside. There are 85 steps up a magnificent sweeping staircase to the rooms on the top floor. Our appartment had a huge bedroom, bathroom with bath &... More
