This hotels has only a few flaws! But they had a lovely receptionist who helped us book our trips through the hotel and told us were everything was! It's located in just l nice 10 walk from the town! No noise at night! Lovely view too! But the rooms are a good size! We had a twin single room! Which... More

I can't recommend this hotel for many reasons because: The room didn't have refrigerated. The hotel had a sauna but we could not used. They charged us twice on the tax. And the staff was really unfriendly answering us.

Great location, clean, very good breakfast. Rooms are big, shower is hot with good water pressure. Beds are comfortable. Very reasonable. Nothing fancy but excellent. Hair dryer you have to ask for at front desk. We were a family of four and our room was huge for 350 PLN a night. Book it. Don't over think it!

I will never again come back to this hotel. I was there in the winter and during the night the central heating was turned off. I called the reception desk for help (to turn the heating on or at least give extra blankets, cos it was really, really cold), but I was jeered by the stuff :[. Next day, when... More

The hotel is located within 5 minutes walk of the old town and just 3 minutes from a great shopping mall. It is quite basic but very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast, served from 06:30 to 10:00, was excellent with hot eggs and sausages as well as an array of salad, ham and cheese.... More

This is not a 5-Star hotel, so my overall rating as a hotal is just "Average". But it is excellent value for money, and the location is perfect. A short walk from the main railway station and the Krakow Galleria shopping mall. More importantly, just 2 minutes stroll from the Barbican and Florian Gate (2 of the "must see" items... More

The hotel is in a fantastic location and really central. You can take a taxi from the airport for 89 which is fairly cheap considering. The hotel itself is perfect for a short break. You also pay city tax on departure, not that I mind paying it just didn't realise. Krakow is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.

Just back from Kraków. Stayed at the Matejko. Can't say enough good about it. Ideally situated, very clean, large bedroom, breakfast good, had a lunch , equally good, very helpful staff etc. I read in one of the reviews that it lacked a kettle in the bed-room. At the end of my stay I saw two couples acquire kettles from... More

The Matejko is 500 metres from the railway station, bus station and vast Galleria shopping mall, yet would not think so as no noise or distraction from them. The rail link to the airport is closed for upgrading and is due to open again in August 2015.The 292 bus takes 40/45 minutes and costs 4Zl, about 80 pence! The old... More
