Atlantis is a great hostel in the centre of Krakow. It is 5-7 minutes walk from the central market of Krakow. It is modern and clean and the environment is very friendly. Also it is really close to Kazimierz (many restaurants and bars are placed there) so you have the opportunity to explore the whole city easily by foot.

We stayed here in mid-Jan 2014 having booked a 6 bed 'deluxe' mixed dorm with ensuite. We were the only 2 people in there over 4 nights. I guess this has its positives and negatives but the whole place seemed relatively quiet (perhaps the time of year?!) EXCELLENT value for money (£6.50 each per night!!) and did not lack in... More

Great hostel. Very friendly welcoming staff. I stayed on the 3rd floor. The room was very big, clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms very very good and there were more than plenty for our floor. I would definatly stay here again and it is a great location between the jewish quarter and main square

When we walked in at first we were worried because the foyer was being renovated and looked to be in bad condition. However, every other part of the hostel is fantastic! Very clean hostel with well looked after communal areas. The kitchen included the use of tea, coffee, cereal and bread for toast, as well as pots and pans etc... More

As with other reviews I agree; don't let the building work or exterior put you off. This is a great hostel with large rooms, lockers and well decorated communal areas. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hostel is in a great location for sightseeing.

I stayed here for three nights whilst interrailing and it was one Of the best hostels by far, the rooms are spacious, that bathrooms are clean, the location is just in the middle of everything eg the main Square and Jewish quarter are right round The corner. The staff are also very welcoming as they offered a traditional polish welcome... More

After receiving a free cherry vodka shot after check-in, we walked up stairs that looked like a communist block from the 1960s. Once we opened the door to our block of rooms the place looked much nicer. The beds were clean and comfortable, the room was large and spacious and had two fans going constantly. The kitchen is well stocked... More

This hostel, as many have said looks grubby on the outside but much of it has been refurbished inside. We had a en suite room for £30 a night and it was excellent - kitted out with Ikea stuff rather than the usual hotel banal stuff. The common room had the atmosphere of someone's lounge and was great for relaxing... More

In several words to say - clean, tidy, comfortable and nice. Especially the place, I mean location! Don't be afraid that it is not in the touristic centre! Hundred of meters - and you are in a very interesting place - Jewish quarter. Not many tourists know this place. Many things to see, many interesting and strange bars, really different... More
